Adding Urkel as a nerdy comedic relief character was good for about 2 or 3 seasons...When it became "Urkels half hour of Sci-Fi" the show went off the rails...Fresh Prince was great for 5 seasons. And a female can be just as much a smooth individual who gets all the men, as well as be the action hero in the movie. It would just be like a separate protagonist based in the same universe. Bond as a male wouldnt be written out of history. Now lets say, for example, a story like repunzel (stick with me). Having long hair is kind of part important. Lets say they wanted to make a reverse repunzel with a man but gave him short hair.
