Far less value than Bush and Clinton, and their names were more of a hindrance than anything

People are sick and tired of Bushes and Clintons. Not Kennedys.

JKIII has nothing new to offer anyone. Campaigning on who your family is doesnt work on a national level and Kennedys platform isnt anything worthwhile.

It helps, but his record in Mass except for the pot thing would win people over. He is a great state politician.

Yeah, people half a century ago.

Now Ted Kennedy was a popular senator for many years, but even then you'd have a hard time getting people excited about a family member of his by invoking his last name

Senator is one thing. Get a Kennedy to rise again on a National, presidential level, and things would change.

Identity politics

Definitely a problem that has spilled out from the (D) playbook of always making similar attacks on "old white Christian men" who are called the root of all evil.

I don't want to vote (R), I'm just at a loss for why I should vote for (D). We need a viable 3rd option that isn't some libertarian who would celebrate after getting .1% of the votes.

Checks and balances. You want a leader who can do whatever he wants without being checked? I sure as fuck don't, and I wanted a (moderate) Republican to win in 2016. Trump is dangerous to allow having free reign of all government branches.

It'd be okay if it's Bernie Samders. Then we'd know that America's huge revenue engine is working for us instead of for just the top .1% of the top .1%

Oh but wait I forgot about how (D)s screwed him over.
