I feel like people have made the whole incel thing into something it's not, like it's actually a group or movement. It's just a bunch of salty men, which sometimes turns into a cesspool of women haters who bounce around in an echo chamber. This echo chamber stirs up the few people who are incels because they're legit insane, and then we get a few shooters. It's not some kind of cult indoctrinating a bunch of mass killers.

Honestly, if they had a single, massive game with all the creatures available, I might go for it. That could be fun. The whole "have 8 different games and hours on end of boring trading busywork" or "spend hours on the online system doing boring trading busywork" is a turnoff.

It's 2 games, and trading to get the other 12 or so version exclusive pokemon.

I don't mean for each generation. I mean the idea of literally catching them all past generation 3. You either need a ton of time going through previous games, or you need to spam the GTS in the generations that is available. That's not particularly a fun sounding experience. Only those truly dedicated to it will bother doing all that. If all of them were available in one generation, that would be a lot more enticing to accomplish. I'd still expect that to be a 200+ hour experience, but it would be more worth it than the current methods.

It doesn't really matter if nobody actually watches those videos. As someone who doesn't vote, I know literally nothing about any candidate from the recent election in my state. I don't know their names, faces, or policies. I'm sure there are quite a large number of people like me, but they still go out to vote because of the whole "civic duty" mentality. That doesn't mean that there wasn't a percentage of people who knowingly voted for him while knowing everything about him, but this article shouldn't act like it's a nazi problem without some kind of evidence to back it.

nemu

I would say the rise of it most likely has to do with an already existent mental health problem bolstered by hyper focused media attention. Every shooting story focuses on the shooter to such a great extent that it gets silly. For some reason, they feel the need to tell every little detail about their life.

Guns are only a means to an end for these killers. If not guns, it would be cars. If not cars, bombs. If not bombs, knifes. Less guns could potentially mean more people chickening out because it become too hard for them, but we live in a reality of about as many guns as there are people in the country. That reality will not change for hundreds of years even if we ban guns this very minute. People so focused on the gun issue seem to live in a different reality where gun laws could instantly stop these incidents. Too bad the rest of us do not.

I honestly don't think it makes for the healthiest of relationships, but there are some people who can find happiness in that manner. If they're living together as if they're married, it wouldn't change much. It not being legal doesn't stop the horrible sex cults from existing. It would probably need heavier regulation to make sure people aren't abusing the system though.
