Depends on which one my son is.

The one on top: I'd be okay with it.

The one on bottom: I'd be a little disappointed that my son was the catcher and not the pitcher, but I'd be okay with it.

It's irrational/fucked up to force a person to violate their religious beliefs to accomodate groups that the government has picked as winners in the culture war in a society that allegedly calls itself free.

I literally said the government should intervene if a class is being systematically denied a service, that means homosexuals too.

So you say that the government should prevent discrimination...immediately after you say that anyone should be allowed unrestricted rights to discriminate as long as they cite religion?

I really didnt think this was such a hard concept to understand.

People should be allowed to discriminate in their business for whatever reasons they want without government interference.

However, if a particular member of a class defined by say race, religion, gender, orientation can show that in their area there is no reasonable way for them to seek alternative access to a similar service, then the business should be forced to serve them.

Ex. 1: A gay man is turned away at a bakery for his wedding cake. There are 5 other similar bakeries within 10 mins.
Result: Government does.not intervene.

Ex. 2: Same scenario, but closest bakery is 200 miles away.
Result: Government forces the business to bake the wedding cake.

I was fucking raised mormon. Yes they 100% do. They believe that black people were cursed by god, and that is why their race exists. It is an extremely racist religion at its core. Brigham Young called for people in interracial marriages to be executed.

And that was... how many years ago? We have changed as a society. A lot of 'laws' are not actually enforced because there is no need to enforce them now. Socially, we are more responsible as a whole.

Its a good idea, although the name is probably meant to stir controversy.

The idea is that America is a 'free market' and it should be up to sellers, producers, etc to determine who they can and will sell to. At the same point, buyers are allowed to make the same choices.
