There are smart TVs out there that say audio may be recorded and sold, but who that info gets sold to and why are completely secret. If this happens, there is nothing in place to prevent a company or person working at that company, to sell that information to someone who may use it for nefarious purposes. The problem isnt if this has happened or not, the problem is that the technology exists to allow such possibilities to occur, all without our knowledge. Only a fucking idiot would be okay with that. --- |
