There was this chat site I used to visit back in the early 2000s. It was dying by around 2007-2008, and there was this one guy there who was pretty weird but generally harmless. Talked to himself and didn't always make sense to others, but was occasionally lucid and could communicate. I left around then, then came back a couple years later, and it was just him. Just him ranting on and on about random shit that made no sense, over and over. Walls, oceans, worlds of text of him creepily documenting his life through some filter of derangement. You remind me of that guy.

Fucking dreadful. In one of my poorest years, I bought 4 new video games, and appreciated all of them. 3 of them, I put in dozens of hours.

I got all of them on sale, and spent ~$200 on the 12 of them combined. How about you go appreciate your games, Sunhawk.

If you want an RPG that will grip and engage you, then Persona 5, Tales of Berseria, and Dragon Age: Inquisition will probably do that for you. Berseria is one of the more mature themed Tales games, with main characters that speak of vengeance, instead of altruism. I really liked it, and is one of the few Tales games that I've actually beat (I've played _many_ of them). Persona 5 is one of the most stylish RPGs I've ever played, even though it suffers from pacing issues in the latter 1/3rd of the game. As for Inquisition, it's an open-world wRPG, so expect things like loot grind. I really enjoyed all 3 titles, and have actually beaten all 3 of them.

Grinding isn't a problem for me. I have an ocean of patience for things like that. I played DAI just long enough to get a taste, but I was a little worried about customization. The skill trees look a little small. Can you make very distinct characters with different strengths and weaknesses?

Got all of them on sale, but I can't find the time or motivation to get into them. I've started the first two (like 7-8 hours into ToZ and 1 hour into DAI), but they're not sucking me in yet. Back in the day FFVII and Legend of Legaia were nearly life-changing experiences for me, and I guess I kind of want to recapture that. Plz tell me good, non-spoilery things about one or more of these games to hype me up for them.

It's hard to tell sometimes. I myself am a very attractive man, but I like to portray myself as ugly to fit in with the rest of you.

Eh, pretty much everything I do or say is embarrassing. It all kind of runs together after a while when your life is a journey from one embarrassment to the next.

She does seem like a pretty nice person, though there is a certain school of thought that smoliske blackmailed her and harpie, threatening to share their nudes if they dished any dirt on him. This would explain harpie's 'pang of conscience' after the initial excoriation. Relative, I suppose. Some people seem to believe that smoliske is a bad enough person that exposing him could potentially be the right thing to do, as it were. Or maybe that's just their justification for bullying for the lulz. Shitposting aside, I don't know enough about the situation for my opinion to be worth anything.

No, but not for lack of trying. I just always miss all the fun. And the topic's locked now, so I can't correct Menardii #34. Vyrulisse claimed no knowledge of smoliske whatsoever, let alone a seduction attempt. Girl #3 (and most damning) in that topic was in fact Harpie, who really let smoliske have it and then tried to backpedal a bit later because she felt bad about joining in on the dogpile. The stealth fourth though was revealed a couple weeks later by smoliske himself accidentally. Although she was tagged into the topic, Aeriis was conspicuously silent. Then smoliske came into one of her topics to insult her unprovoked, for no apparent reason. She chastised him and told him that she didn't even put him on blast like the others, and smoliske disappeared from the topic immediately, probably hoping nobody else took note of the exchange. But I, as a concerned CEtizen, have my eyes open for this kind of thing at all times.

I did it a lot when I was younger. Then I responded to the post as a whole. Then I lost my interest in responding to posts altogether. It's the evolution of message board apathy.

Thanks for the advice, Rye! I guess doing one box at a time is a good way to compartmentalize the process so it's not overwhelming. I just wish I had someone around to help, ya know? I always work better with a friend, even if they're not doing anything. It's just nice to have company.
