You're getting no more than 2.5 million if you're a reasonable person. You have to at least ask if this poses a risk to your well being or your family's. And then only 1.25 million if you wanna ask if it would effect your reputation but I guess that technically factors into well being

If someone has to pay me 10 million to do a job without asking any questions, it definitely is not going to be worth the money

In many ways Google is dangerously close to public utility status no different than electricity or water and they're trying to have their cake and eat it too with it's protections as a platform vs publisher. They can't have it both ways, and it will be interesting to see what the legal landscape is down the line for situations like this.

Also, I remember many here being in the boat of wanting to make the internet a utility...

It's definitely very coincidental and the timing is very convenient. What event happened recently that made all these separate, private companies act so suddenly? Pretending that google is just like any other private company is pretty hilariously disingenuous at this point. Back in highschool i maybe knocked out 3 books a month, so like 36 a year. Now im lucky to get one done in 3, it has to be really good to get me invested. So i say roughly 7-10. I shoot for 10, fall short.

I think when you're an adult it becomes a lot harder unless it's a hobby you invest time in. Between working, social stuff, and my hobbies, reading books is hardly a priority. Not to say, I havent read my share but its only when I get unexpectedly large amounts of free time. I read on average maybe 2 or 3 a year

I find it hard to truly be a fan of a team that isnt one from a place I've lived. I do have a tendency to root for teams that people unnecessarily hate though like the warriors.

I've had zero problems ever with self checkout. It's easy and I've never worked at a grocery store

I imagine he at least has experience with anxiety since that's a very common reason for alcoholism

Sometimes people have social anxiety too and they'd rather wait to do self checkout than to have to force small talk with the cashier. It makes it really uncomfortable.

If you have social anxiety, avoiding social interactions is the worst thing to do, if you want to overcome it. But I guess even going to the grocery store and doing your own shopping instead of having it delivered is also a good step forward.

But still, don't self checkout with a full cart.

I don't think exposure therapy really helps most people with social anxiety

Also the show gets kinda lame in the most recent seasons since they write off a good chunk of the characters that have been there awhile.
