You're probably underestimating how many people follow Super, especially since Dragon Ball is the most popular it's been since the early 2000's and Super is huge nostalgia bait. I know Super wasn't that popular at first (because of the lame movie retreads) but it definitely picked up when people saw that Future Trunks came back. And the fact the Broly is canon now is also huge news that got more people into super.

Even disregarding that the Cell arc is obviously the second most popular arc, it's the first arc where Super Saiyans became main characters besides Goku, and 18 and 17 were the first characters to defeat a Super Saiyan.

Oh I mean in the general anime community there's no doubt Super is being watched a shit ton

But this is GameFAQs where people barely get out of the oldschool Nintendo/Squaresoft timezone

Pokemon Lets Go was simply not received well by the 'hardcore'/nostalgia fans since its taking a lot of cues from Pokemon Go which is what many gamers here dont want for the main series

It'll probably do better with casuals but not with the GameFAQs

Free was also surprisingly good to me

Kinda felt like the KON for women but more focus on getting good/drama as opposed to the KONers acting like lazy dumbasses the whole time

Not a top tier slice of life but Free was enjoyable and people were stupid to make comments about how KyoAni sucks just cuz they were appealing to a different crowd when I think its good they went a slightly different direction

Would laugh really hard if the Switch version put in Waluigi, and then buy it super hard.

But insofar as 'think could/will happen' and 'would actually affect sales', I think a My Hero Academia character would at least fit the themes of the series well and would make an impact. Or, like, Samurai Jack.

The only Academia characters popular enough to be put in a game like this would be Deku, All Might, Bakugo, or Todoroki all who dont really have a weapon fit for this game since they're either punches are elemental stuff

I wonder how long it will take for all of DB Super to be dubbed so I can marathon it. Its gotta be getting close to being done by now.
