The problem with V's story thing was that they had big ideas for it but it was super incomplete and it followed the Incest Twins as protagonists so it was super uninteresting too

That weapon master lookalike seems to be a step back as its kinda coming off not as epic nor ambitious BUT that hopefully means its more manageable for the Team and I'm assuming you can use anyone for it

I don't think any of it is bad but the biggest divide is between the camp and the end of term exams

Like, FFXIII's battle system can make you feel good when it comes together, but for most of the time it just feels restricted. I've always said its like a more limited version of a Tales game IMO

I haven't played the Sequels but I at least 100% XIII

I've only played FFXV for a bit

I vastly enjoy that battle system

if we're talking about stories, the whole encyclopedia reading thing was a pain in the ass. Especially with them starting the game and already using weird terms and phrases you don't understand. Also some of the story is tied to supplementary materials. XV is too but I just feel its more accessible.
The fact that XIII's is mostly japan only, and the game not really...giving you the story anyways, it just felt super annoying and incomplete

I can't speak for XV's story beyond that though

then watched some simpsons DVDs after episode 4

Yea I said it already but his voice is WAYYY too light. The japanese voice was a bit deeper and it suited him more, and he had more range so he could be bad ass or goofy if he needed to. I'm just not getting that with the english guy

but I suspect they hired this guy because he could probably pull off the DORARARARAs way better. You could hear one during the previews a few weeks back and it wasn't too shabby. Oras are one things but making RARARAs not sound dumb ass hell is probably way harder

I think I like Froppy

she has a surprisingly level head and she kicks ass

you would think someone as goofy as her would be the comedic relief, but everyone takes her seriously, shes well respected, and they just love her

shes the first person to surmise that Deku's powers are like All Might's

she always comes through when they need her to

shes the one that compared their plans to villains because they're breaking the rules

and well

shes just adorable lol

her "only" real problem is that she hasn't had a straight up fight or a very epic one moment yet

The thing is, this is is an anomaly

Its both generic and fresh

its been (kinda) deep and shallow

Its really cool and kinda not sometimes

Its taking the genre in different directions yet it just feels like its not gonna go down as a classic

the characters are varied and cool but I don't have a favorite

and so on and so on

but after watching those episodes, it at least cemented it for me right there

I think this show is great, I like it.

Now again, the show is weird. I'm not saying I didn't like it until then, but there was just something missing that I can't point my finger on.

Every new arc brought different things and it was entertaining.

however, that end of the arc just blew me away.

but now I fear for the rest of it, can it top that? Or at least, maintain this?

I guess we'll see

So I consider myself a simpsons aficionado, and Futurama is great too

I can't judge it too much since I've only seen one episode

but the thing is, yea, not all jokes hit, and some were just too corny and failed before they started

but I feel like these jokes hurt even more considering theres only 10 episodes. Its precious and valuable time wasted.

and I agree that it runs for JUST a bit too long

I feel the characters were generic. Any characterzation they DID have was thrown out the window once they got together

but I'm willing to forgive that, I'm sure it'll get better once the status quo kicks in

the jokes that DID hit were just random one offs. Like that king randomly goin "you jerkin me around?" to the chick
or him randomly slapping that kid

so I finished the camp arc

it felt like it was a rehash of the USJ arc, BUT they were really creative on how they took out some of the enemies

especially with Multiarm man leading Falco's stand into another enemy. I was even thinking how the fuck are they gonna take out Sword teeth guy and THATS how lol

I enjoyed it

as soon as I saw the pussycats, I thought "what can they do?" and sure enough two of them were downed, one instantly lol

it also raised the stakes by having Kacchan be kidnapped

I feel like the show needs to kill off a character or two every once in awhile. I really thought Deku going a million % would've killed that guy.

But hes apparently still kicking. That COULD have raised some drama with a trainee hero, not licensed, killing someone.

but looks like they might not explore it that deep again. I was surprised they brought that rule up AGAIN with Stare-man giving the kids permission to use their powers, but it looks like theres not gonna be any major consequences for that

I know theres abuse going on because they showed the dude smacking her

I initially guessed that she may have been startled and saw her husband in him then decided to attack him. It came off as intentional

but when they showed the incident, she stared at him for a solid 5 or so seconds, and they never implied that was happening. She knew it was him and she threw the water on him

or maybe she saw him as a monster and attacked him. And he has two abusive parents. And half and half even sorta described her this way

but before AND after that incident, they showed her as a loving mother and he seemed to have a good opinion of her from then on

so its not really that either

The tournament was cool in the beginning, but once it got to the match making and the bracket, as well as the actual matches

it fell in quality I felt

the matches just weren't that great IMO

the match making were set up in a way that they had reason to end in like 5 seconds

or matches we didn't need to pay attention to like the two "hard" guys

the Ura match was really good, the fight was a weird match up and they showed what she could do on her own.

Tournament arcs usually show off individual characters and how they use their powers in specific situations but they just dropped the ball.

Though I guess one could argue that in reality that would happen too, just one talent completely outshines the other like that but entertainment that doesn't make

also I watched the HERO KILLER ARC
