I can assume that a NEET son would not have found the Lord, and that is why he is in that situation.

An alt-right child may have found the Lord, so I would prefer that circumstance.

Given that tomorrow's Sunday, tomorrow is an exciting opportunity for anyone here who has not been to church in awhile to try out a new house of worship.

Will punch and or pie be served? I'll go most anywhere if free punch and or pie is on the table.

While I do not know about punch and pie, many churches do serve light refreshments after worship. One church that I used to go to served soft pretzels, desserts, and juice, among other things.

There must be a lot of care and consideration with how children are presented with Christ. For example, if a Sunday School caricature is taught, it could risk compromising the child's relationship with him as they grow older.

my friend told me if I didn't get saved by Jesus I would go to hell

i hope that, when they expressed this to you, they did so in genuine concern and Christian love.

They sure as hell didn't in my family.

That is disconcerting. I regret to hear that such negativity was conveyed in Jesus's name.

That's the name of the game in Christianity. Believe what I believe and live as I tell you to live or you will rot burn and suffer in eternal hellfire.

Ah, but for those who interpret the scriptures that way, it isn't a matter of their own desires. Rather, it is what they believe the Lord demands that they communicate, and they spread such a message through the Great Commission.

Regardless, the truth is that Jesus will not reject any who do not reject him.

Yes and no.

Jesus is, and John 1 confirms that Jesus and the Word of God are the same thing.

But this doesn't mean that you have to memorize the Bible to be saved. It's a more personal thing than that.

Ah, yes. Christ as the Living Word. Perhaps that is the true answer to the question.

Why do you believe this to be the case? Is this attributable to an event in your life, for example?

because it is the case. i have no relationship with God because im Atheist.

i attribute it to when i became woke at the tender age of six when i realized God is a lie and his very existence by the terms laid out in Christianity is inherently illogical
