1. New consoles are released every 5-7 years usually, so about the time you might have to upgrade your PC. (This isn't including mid-gen upgrades such as PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, New 3DS, etc.)

That's not how it works. Gaming computers can last for years and really the only thing that would even need to be replaced if you want to stay active in PC gaming is the graphics card.

Child porn is bad because it's exploitative towards children under the age of consent. That component isn't present in hentai so if trying to suppress or end it is saying you have a problem with it so it has no right to exist, which is just censorship and conflating ethics (or even legality) with opinions.

This is exactly why posts like this are contradictory and wrong. Child porn is bad. It isn't censorship to ban something like it. Claiming that it's child porn then saying censorship is wrong is not valid at all. Again, drawings cannot be child porn.
