So theres apparently a 42 day old reddit post that just came to light from an Aspyr dev who confirmed that they are indeed working on Rise and Fall for iOS with no timetable given, so at least theres that confirmation that itll come out eventually. If the switch version is a port of the iOS version then presumably itll come to that soon after too, if not at the same time.

I certainly hope so. I'm loving this game.

I want to talk a bit about how I got into engineering... But it's not exactly the most inspirational story. I got lucky. I went into it cause I was good at math and science, and when I went on a work term while in school, I realized I liked it.

I had an ultrasound done on my testes my junior year of high school. The jelly was cold and startled me. My nurse was hot though. d<.<

Controls better than I thought it would. I've had no issues using a controller, and in handheld mode you just use the touch screen.

This will absolutely be one of my most played traveling games.

Slight audible. No vegetables. I was craving something sweet, so decided to cut up some kiwi and peaches instead.

Chicken is in the oven and should be done right away. Let it rest while I finish up the rest and then I'll hack away the meat (I can't carve a bird to save my life) and it'll be delicious.

There's so many people involved with the process that would need to keep quiet (and go along with it) that it's basically impossible.

Theoretically, yes. It would be very easy to start the lie and run with it, but keeping it up when everyone inevitably finds out is a whole different monster.

What do you talk about for 45 minutes? Most of my job interviews have been around 30 minutes or less.

Normal interview stuff I thought.

Start off with a brief introduction of the company and the position, then transition into a generic "tell me about yourself". Then we go into more technical questions and questions on past experience (as per your cover letter/resume). Follow it up by answering any questions the candidate has, and by then at least 40-45 minutes has gone by.

I do plenty of interviews at work, a good chunk of them are over Skype... we always book an hour for them. Usually they last about 45 minutes and that gives us 15 minutes to discuss the candidate before the next interview.

I did have one that lasted close to two hours. That boy loved to talk.

It sucks. Used to drink milk all the time. Now I have to buy the ridiculously expensive lactose free milk.

Sometimes I decide it's worth it and just have ice cream or some other dessert, but usually not. And if possible, I'll take Lactaid before I eat any dairy - pretty much eliminates all of the issues.

I think it is an interesting concept. But I think in practice it would have the opposite effect of what right wingers want. Most Americans can't pass a citizenship test while most immigrants do. It would also mean children would need to work to become citizens and if the child is handicapped that could cause issues. Or if a student is home schooled or goes to a poor school they may not be learning all the right stuff. So many poor and disabled people would be left without a country. And schools in general would be a toss up on if the kids can even go.

Or, more likely, you become an automatic citizen if both (or at least one) of the parents is a citizen.

Doubtful they'd attempt to test every single person in the country. That seems like a logistical nightmare.

It might make sense from a business standpoint, but those were two of their biggest games for the ps1. They were pretty much Sonys mascots.

I would argue that from a business standpoint, it could make sense to include them. Put in the first Crash and first Spyro, and if people like those, they may pick up the collection to play the rest.

I'm not sure how big that market realistically is, but I couldn't imagine including the first of each series in the collection would hurt sales of the remasters by any meaningful amount.

So far, yes. Mostly, canned meat (either tuna or chicken salad) and crackers. It's an easy and delicious relatively healthy snack option that adds a few hundred calories. Do that two or three times in a day and that can be 600+ calories.

Absolutely. Life isn't worth living if you aren't having the food you like. Moderation is key. Like the whole topic is about, despite pancakes being awful for you (no matter how many strawberries I put on top of it), I still made them because pancakes are delicious. If I want a muffin for breakfast, I will darn well have a muffin for breakfast. But I keep track of everything to make sure I'm not going overboard. Maybe I don't need to have pancakes for breakfast, McDonald's for lunch, and then have a massive deep fried meal for dinner.

Also, outside of protein shakes, I don't really drink calories. I like the trend of more and more calorie free drinks being available these days. Gone are the dark ages where it was water or nothing.

You could always start substituting nut flours for part of the wheat flour you use.

Outside of making pancakes once every two weeks, I rarely use flour. Frankly, most of my meals are pretty boring, but I like them.

For example, my lunch today was a chicken breast burger on a thin bun with sides of kiwi and carrots.

Supper tonight will be leftover roast chicken with sides of rice (probably just white rice), carrots, and a cucumber. This is my go-to supper probably 4-5 times a week <_< (except chicken breast or salmon usually instead of roast chicken)

Basically, I need to eat more, but I'd rather it not come from things full of sugar, fat, and butter. As delicious as those things are.

So basically I added more snacks, but didn't really change my overall diet too much.

I actually eat really healthy most of the time. Including chicken literally every day, often multiple times (I'll be having chicken for both lunch and supper).

The calorie counting actually revealed something interesting. I don't eat enough calories. I was averaging about 1800, but I go to the gym about 4-5 days a week, so those days I really should be closer to 2500 (I'm not trying to lose weight).

Been tracking my calories for the last month, and I decided to make myself some delicious pancakes with some fresh strawberries. That used up a third of the calories I have budgeted for today.

Worth it.

Unrelated, I've been watching a bunch of random cooking shows recently, and have decided that clearly I don't use nearly enough butter in my life. Why does every recipe suggest like a pound of butter.

I used to go to Gold's and paid freaking $45/month for the privilege. Then a Planet Fitness opened up here. Now I pay $10 and haven't looked back since. I miss having a proper squat rack, but that's literally the only thing that I used in Gold's that PF doesn't have.
