Neither side is helping themselves. This clusterfuck was started by Trump and his chest-pounding but violence and bum-rushing the border isn't going to win the caravan any supporters. I don't understand how you combat illegal immigration but refusing to process people trying to do it legally. The immigration process is long and confusing enough as it is without all this bullshit going on.

The administration isn't against illegal immigration. They are against immigration. And no I'm not being sarcastic. What Stephen Miller? Or one of the other white nationalist advisors of him who are advocating cutting the amount of people we allow in legally.

A lot of indie games are call backs to older games. Some consist of dated mechanics that really don't need to be brought back some times. I don't know that I would call it 95% though but I also play a limited variety of genres.

I don't get this one. I'm not familiar with any of those things being racist.

I don't see it as sudden to be honest? There has always been general anti-jerrymandering sentiment but most people in the nation didn't know what it was. Also we've seen a steep rise in efforts of voter suppression since they voting rights act was weakened which is causing rising frustrations. I feel like people are more aware and this is a response to demand from the base.

Anyways this bill is important they need to fight for it. They're gonna lose, but democrats need to make a distinction between them and Republicans. They need to show that they care about governing and have the ability and willingness to at least attempt to do so. The worst thing Democrats could do is sit around and just focus on investigations. Investigations need to happen in the back ground while democrats are publicly advocating and fighting for good bills like this one that enjoy pretty popular support.

It's never been a week. Sometimes wed is an early release, but I don't recall if it was a day off. Monday and tuesday were always school days. To be fair teachers never scheduled major class work for this week since there were kids and families who would take the whole week off. Anyways giving friday off makes too much sense since you don't want kids traveling to school with the murderous psychopaths out and about on black friday.

I live in a city and public transport here is wildly unreliable. It only runs to each stop like twice or three times a day and doesn't run at night. I've lived in a few states, always in cities, and the only place I ever lived where I remember the public transport being functional was florida, but you didn't want to ride the bus there because of gangs.

The rouge was supposed to be Rogue, and that contains games like FTL. It's probably the most niche set of games listed there.

And my belief is that we won't see serious exploitation of space resources until we have some form of manufacturing in space. Which causes me to suspect that most of what we end up mining in space won't even make it back to earth.

yes, metallic asteroids are supposed to be worth in the tens of trillions of dollars. a problem with that, though, is that the price of metal wouldn't stay so high if we had that much of it. mining a gold asteroid would make you a lot of money at first, but it would also crash the price the gold.

Most of the things that will be targeted for mining first would probably be things that will be used in furthering space technology. Like gold in particular has use in electronic components.

Did you watch the video? It explicitly states they're building a moon base so they can get to other places in the solar system easier.

Which is odd, because it seems like it would be far easier and more efficient to establish some sort of space station base as a launching off point than one on the moon. Because while gravity is certainly reduced there, you still need to use a signifcant amount of fuel to break orbit there, which wouldn't be an issue if you were launching from space.

If I were to make a wild guess they are probably planning a base larger than we currently have the technology to make into a satellite. Right now sending things into space is an exponential cost equation, even if the moon has gravity it's not the same sort of thing that requires such massive rockets to escape the pull.

To be fair it seems kind of logical, we waste a lot of fuel leaving the atmosphere and we are going to need a lot of supplies to actually go to mars.

Eh, I guess that depends on what you mean by gameplay.

Personally the reason I love the game is the sidequests and the non-linear exploration you can do on the maps. You can get good equips early if you have the know-how.

I also like how the optional stuff didn't belittle the player. Have you seen the great crystal map to get to omega? Imagine being hardcore and mapping that out yourself.

I didn't have a problem with the battle system either but I can understand how it would be disappointing considering how different it was. I guess I approached it like TCG deck building. Most of the work is planning ahead of time and "programming" your strategy.

Nah dude I could only make it like half way through the game. I tried a few times over the years but it's just bad in pretty much every aspect. The gameplay is bad, the leveling system and abilities are trash, the characters are the worst in the series, the story could have been good but there were times I would forget story points by the time I made it to the next one through some of the pointlessly massive bland zones.

If I compare it to say Summoner, a PS2 launch title with a nearly identical combat system and a fraction of the length/budget it's not even a competition. Summoner absolutely crushes FF12 with good combat, good leveling, good story, really low quality graphics, and some of the worst character art I've ever seen.

The worst part of FF12 was the gameplay though.
