It's legitimately not funny aside from a chuckle here and there, several sections are very obviously trying way too hard at being zany and missing the mark entirely, the homages and cameos are usually shoed in, the ending payoff was entirely not earned (their training shows them go from fuck ups to slightly less of a fuckup and then they suddenly are masters) and even for a modern film the product placements are blatantly obvious.

If it wasn't a Ghostbusters film, it'd be a completely forgettable film. I wouldn't even recommend it as a free watch.

I'm aware of it but it reeks of just trying to excuse it or cover up due to how many of their own are involved.

If they were truly good people as they claim then they wouldn't cling to something that perpetuates child abuse.

How many religions are you aware of that would break a fundamental dogmatic belief regardless of the circumstance?
