It's sad really. There are far too many Millennials who are like that. NMB certainly isn't the only one who is in his late 20s and never had a job. It all comes down to bad parenting since the parents never made the child grow up. He's still a 28 year old child basically. On the bright side, NMB has virtually no chance of ever reproducing, so at least his bad genetics will die with him.

The real sad part is I'm not sure that NMB is even qualified to work either of those jobs. I kinda worry what's going to happen to the guy when his mom dies.

one would hope his mom gets him set up with a caretaker but if he's not actually disabled i don't think he'd qualify for one

Monsoon season is in full effect and we've had five thunderstorms in a row this week

This ones pretty bad and he's panting, pacing, shaking and drooling all over.

Not sure what to do for him.

Nothing I'm doing is comforting him.

I tried putting his bed in the walk in closet thinking maybe if he can't see the lightning and hear the thunder as bad he'd be better but he doesn't want to stay in there.

Nice! Sometimes I vape zero nic in my vape just for fun and flavor. Maybe you can keep that around in case you do get a craving. What personal information? All they have is my first and last name. All the samples are stored anonymously under an ID Number. When they give the data to other companies they're given anonymously. You're making a mountain out of a molehill.

If you don't want them to store your sample, they destroy it when they make your report. If you don't want them to use your data for research they don't. Your paranoia is crazy.

Took a month to get delivered because of a shipping error and about three weeks to get processed to generate my reports.

I don't have a family tree that we've created so it's really just telling me my ancestral make up and showing me some general facts about other people that I may be related to that have tested as well.

And I'm not sure what you mean by how am I rationalizing what I've received.

Once I get my raw data I'm going to use a different company to do a genetic health screening.

It tells me about my maternal haplogroup - which tells me about my X chromosome and where my maternal ancestors migrated from way back from 100,000 years ago until 10,000 years ago.

Then I have about 991 potential relatives that have taken the test as well but most of them aren't sharing their DNA in the family area so I can't see them.
