| The_Scarecrow 09/12/18 9:47:44 PM #1 | Bullshit I'm a junior in the pre-med program. My college life is ass and not the good kind. I've barely made any friends. Most people don't really bother keeping in contact after the semester for that class ends plus I commute so I don't have the advantages of dorm life. My house is 10 minutes away from the college so why not commute. I've tried joining clubs. Went to a few Physics club "tea parties" when I was a physics major and they were cringey as fuck. Went to the video game club meeting and I'm sure I don't have to elaborate on that. I also went to a Smash tournament. All the talk about how Smash players smell is true. I also did track & field but I couldn't commit to it due to my studies. Plus, they wanted me to do hurdles. I have joined a few honor societies. I go to the meetings but I'm the only guy usually and all of the women talk about things I have no interest in such as SJW shit. There are probably two or three people I still keep into contact with from my classes but we don't really do anything together. Just talk about the latest movies or music albums which is admittedly nice. College students can be just as judgmental as high school shitters. I met a girl in one of my calculus classes from last year and started working together with her in the class. She told me that she saw me around campus before and always thought I was high out of my mind 24/7 and depressed. She also told me that her friends and other people thought of me in that way, too. That also explains why random people have come up to me asking for weed and other drugs. It blows. I have done everything possible not to draw attention to myself. Some of my professors are cool. Some of them end up giving me praise for my academic performance and that never happened in high school so that's cool. Having the option to skip class and fuck around is nice even though I never do it. Lot of cute girls but it's not like I'm ever going to try my luck. I kind of imagined college to be the place where I meet lifelong friends and have crazy adventures. Do memorable stuff I would reflect back on. All I do nowadays is go to class then come home and procrastinate homework and studying. Same as high school. I'm still playing video games and browsing the internet during my free time just like in high school. Only difference is I occasionally tutor people for chemistry. Another difference is I go to the gym regularly. That's also a good change. Life is a bitch, man. I still have to write a lab report tonight and another one tomorrow. Fuck /blogfaqs --- |

Venom plot In San Francisco, journalist Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) interviews serial killer Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson). Brocks girlfriend Ann Weying (Michelle Williams) works for the Life Foundation. Its CEO, Carlton Drake (Riz Ahmed), retrieves a space probe containing symbiotes and attempts to merge them with disabled vagrants, leading to their deaths and attracting Brocks attention. Aided by Dr. Dora Skirth (Jenny Slate), Brock breaks into the Life Foundations headquarters and is attacked by one of Drakes subjects, Donna Diego (Michelle Lee), who has been driven insane by her symbiote, Scream. Brock merges with another symbiote, Venom, who helps him escape. Scream escapes, and another symbiote, Riot, infects Dr. Emerson Collins (Reid Scott). Apparently, this is the dance scene. Movie is out in a month so we'll know for sure 100% if all of this is real. Fun read tho --- |

Some of the older men at the university gym I go to will have a 10 minute conversation with you between a set of you let them. The whole social structure at my gym is pretty interesting actually. You have the employees and the people who spend 4 hours minimum in the gym everyday as one group. There are the old people in one group. Theres the middle aged people as a group. You have the gym thots that stick together. The dudebros. You have the people like me who keep to themselves. The minorities stick together. Then, you have the people who never stepped foot in a gym and do the funniest shit. There was a girl the other day using an out of order hip machine while drinking a milkshake. There was also a guy running on a treadmill and throwing punches with dumbbells. --- |

Reminder that Pokemon Let's Go is a core game but not a mainline game. Mainline Pokemon games introduce a new setting and a new generation of Pokemon. Core games do not. Or it may be the other way around. Junichi Masuda, Game Freak director and producer, confirmed this. CE, how do we save Pokemon video games? Seems like they've been on the decline since X/Y. Most of it involved coding and I absolutely hated it. Didn't help that the professor who contacted me for the research accidentally sent me an email meant for his colleague where he expressed doubt at my ability to successfully do the research and bad mouthed my academic ability despite him praising my GPA when we met. That experience caused me to drop the research and I eventually changed majors after dealing with other physics majors and professors and whatnot. However, it's worth checking out if I was you. --- |

No way Sakurai would add in that many SF songs and not have another rep. Lots of people and supposed leaks are predicting Ken as an echo fighter which I'm down with. However, I would be pretty happy if Chun-Li was the second rep if the devs could figure out how to incorporate her charge moves. Either way, more Street Fighter is fine by me. Poor Final Fantasy is still stuck at 2 songs. That's a crime. --- |

People are already saying Cyberpunk 2077 will "define a genre of video games" or some shit. Not even the devs themselves are saying this as far as I know. Personally, I'm looking forward to the game and will buy it on release. That's about it. I won't go into it thinking it'll be the best thing since the discovery of fire.
