I was looking up dialogue choices for a Witcher 3 quest. I couldn't remember the name of the quest so I just googled the dialogue I could see on screen. Note that I didn't google "witcher 3 [dialogue snippet]", I just googled "[dialogue snippet]"

Google pulls up several articles with walkthroughs on the specific witcher quest I'm on, but here's the kicker: none of the articles featured any of the dialogue I googled. Not anywhere on the page was any reference to the dialogue option I searched for. So it managed to find the right game and associated side quest but not from the actual text I performed a search query on.

The Dark Tournament in Yu Yu Hakusho is arguably the gold standard of anime, and the World Tournament in DBZ at the beginning of the Buu saga is great too.

YYH is a great example actually because that really was the laziest plot setup ever. Watch it again and appreciate that all the characters are so fucking carried away by being stronger than then other guy that they really don't give a shit about anything important to them anymore. Just a bunch of guys stroking their own egos, desperate to win the tournament so they can say they did.

Yeah it was a fun watch but don't pretend it was writing mastery, the background plot really just served as a carrier.

Do seasonal. Better rewards, more shit, more fun.

Choose a difficulty where you can get through a map relatively easy but still struggle with the harder enemies. Say about 10 minutes max for a map.

Do rifts for easy quick rewards. Do greater rifts (when you get the keystones) for better rewards. Best thing to watch out for in later game are those purple "blood shards". you take them to a merchant called Kadala who lets you roll for a chance at great gear.

Do every bounty on a single act for a bunch of rewards at the end.

Once you can smoke that, ramp the difficulty up a level.

Rinse and repeat.

It's no different than a mouse clicker game to be honest. You play to get better loot so that you can get better loot so that you can get better loot

I'm currently on torment level 8, I do 7000million crit damage.

Some of those brands are great, others suspect. You're gonna want to hold one in your hands and inspect the finish. The cheaper ones will use paint that flakes off after 2 months.

I quite like the look of the robert waynes but again, I'd want to see it up close to be sure. A lot of sites are very good at photography on awful shoes.

All of those jacket styles are pretty common in the US. Weird that the first one has some kinda of negative connotation in the UK when its the coolest one lol I've never been a fan of the denim jacket with a sherpa collar but that's only cuz I can't pull it off. I look like an Abercrombie fuck boy if I wear one of those.

It's the brand that has the connotation. It's a sort of cultural statement, as if to say you belong to a certain social class. The UK has a fairly complicated caste system for nonsense like this, certain things are regarded as old money posh etc.

Wow, so why does it cost $850? It doesn't even look all that good either.

No idea but im guessing its the 300m rating. When I first saw it I thought it was the most horribly ugliest thing ever but over the years its really been growing on me and in the past 6 months its all i can think about.

If I could get the same thing with a lower depth rating for cheaper I would. Seiko has a few 200m ones with a shroud but the solar quartz one comes doesnt come in all metal grey and the other style that is all metal is an automatic which i dont want or like. Plus if i got those I dont think I would ever be happy with the purchase

If the watch i posted msrp'd for $150 or even $1500 same specs and everything, id still be wanting it.

Man if you want it that much screw everyone else, just make sure it's not going to be a painful expense.

I think it's a slightly awkward price point for buying a watch, to be honest. You can get solid, really nice timepieces for ~$200 and you can get special ones for >$1500, but that $500+ mark is where things get iffy.
