Im like 'stop that, ive been here for years and no plumber has ever done that. Its outside of the house.' He tried to tell me that I was wrong but I insisted. Long story short and a call to his 'boss' later he found the main shut off valve outside and he is fixing the cold water tap. The hot water tap was the one that was broken.
