Marvel already does this a little, using Winter Soldier, Planet Hulk, Civil War and putting their own twists on them to make them fit into their universe logically. I think DC has so many more iconic events/graphic novels than Marvel does that could be turned into trilogies or stand-alone movies. Hell, they've got so many characters grimdark enough that the Titans movie didn't have to be so dark which makes it stand out even more as just stupid and edgy. --- You haven't set a signature for the message boards yet |

Funhaus and Cowchop were the best things to happen to the Let's Play family. Sugar Pine is okay, and Cricken is a great cameo in any video he's in but everyone else dragged in has been mediocre at best. ScrewAttack was good overall but when they split into Game Attack it fell off, just like when Creatures split with CowChop Jeremy isn't the worst replacement for Ray, but Ray knew how to meme and be entertaining. The appeal was a semi high-budget for him to go all-out, but after he passed away it was just a Rooster Teeth thing. | ReelBigMurlocs 06/20/18 10:38:43 AM #2 | When I worked in DC briefly, almost everyone there had bicycles or carpooled to work and there was a couple of showers there specifically for the people who were walking or biking to work so they could freshen up but it was a tech firm so that's probably not the average. Still though in large cities there's tons of options for public transportation regardless. It'd be easy to pull the comic book legacy characters deal, and say Bucky or Falcon are now Captain America, or put Ghost in the Iron Man suit but trying to recast them will be about as well received as when Marvel was trying to claim Lady Thor was "Thor proper" even though Thor Odinson was the character's NAME and not the character's title. | ReelBigMurlocs 06/20/18 10:27:01 AM #41 | Not that I'd ever do it, but Gamestop could probably benefit from a lounge-type setting where they've got a couch and some multiplayer games set up you can play in store with other customers, or a demo area where you can request to play a trial of a game before you buy it instead of flooding the store with over-priced toys and "gamer" stuff. They could also host tournaments or screening events for things like GDQ to encourage people to stay in there for awhile. They've also got to cut way back on the aggressive pitches and the unreasonable trade-in/used game prices. I'll pre-order a game only if it has a nice perk, otherwise there's almost no chance that it's going to be any better than just popping in a Walmart and picking up a copy day-of. Captain America -> Black Panther Iron Man -> Spider-Man Thor -> Captain Marvel Hawkeye -> Ant-Man Black Widow -> Wasp Nick Fury -> Tony Stark Depending on whether or not they choose to use the X-Men or Fantastic Four they could throw some of those characters in as well, but I think we're a long ways off from Phase 5 so it'll just be crossovers for a while, but there's no denying that the popularity of Black Panther, Guardians, and the acquisition of the X-Men and possibly Fantastic 4 are likely to change things up a bit, just like when Marvel was able to use Spider-Man --- You haven't set a signature for the message boards yet |

Tell them "I'm making this amount right now, I'd be will to work for a little less than that" Bargaining chip only works if you're in a high demand industry though, if you're just bouncing between retail or entry-level jobs it's probably not worth bringing up.
