Hot water, because I had always been told that it was better at cleaning your hands than cold water. However, since The Popo stated otherwise, I just looked it up and it seems I was sold nothing but lies as a child.

Tide Pods would get my second vote. Again, there are some good ones out there. However, it gets knocked down a notch because the whole meme started because of a stupid and dangerous "trend".

Really? I thought it was the other way around. That people started trying to eat them because of all the memes calling them "the forbidden fruit" and whatnot.

So, it's kind of a murkier mix of the two feeding into each other. After Tide Pods came out, children (young children) were ending up in the hospital because they thought they were candy. The Onion released an article a couple years ago (before it became a meme) about how the editor was finally going to bite into one of those delicious looking pods...but they didn't, of course. A year or two later, one of those comedy video/news sites (I believe it was College Humor) released a video, again joking about eating Tide Pods. Then, at the end of 2017, some teens on YouTube began actually eating Tide Pods...because video views are super important and personal health is not. It was only after this that the Tide Pod memes went full force.

So, I consider it to be a bad trend that started the memes...but it was technically a string of sad occurrences (children eating Tide Pods) that started it all...with a couple joke articles/videos in between.

I voted for "American Chopper - Paul fires Jr. edits", assuming that's the meme with four pictures where they go back and forth. I've seen a few good ones.

Ugandan Knuckles is one of my least favorite memes ever. I have no idea why people find it enjoyable.

I didn't realize Globglogabgalab was becoming a thing again. I remember it from years ago. Same with Steamed Hams.

Aaaaaaand I didn't know what the other ones were until just now.

Funny that you posted about Kingdom Hearts, but someone named Keyblader posted about Mario instead.

He suffers from crippling anxiety. He doesn't die, per se, but he falls off the screen so that he may curl up into the fetal position and make sad Italian noises.

"Yep, I like the stuff"

I don't actively seek it out, but I've got nothing against the flavor. It's certainly better than that awful "buttered popcorn" flavored jellybean that actually takes like urine-soaked cardboard.

I'm generally of the opinion that its not important, but that great music can really elevate a game.

I voted "Can go either way", but I pretty much agree with this post. I enjoy video game music a lot and aspire to make music for video games one day (I just put together my studio, so that's a step in the right direction). I've gone and seen orchestras perform the music of Nobuo Uematsu a few times and constantly hope an orchestra will come through my area playing pieces by Yasunori Mitsuda one day (Chrono Cross is, to this day, my favorite soundtrack). I think great music can really help a game become an even greater game, but, ultimately, unless if the music is absolutely abysmal, it rarely detracts from a game if it's subpar. For instance, I still enjoyed Drakengard on the PS2, even though the soundtrack made me want to fill my ears with cement. If all else fails, you always have the ability to turn off music and just play your own stuff in the background, y'know?

As people have already stated, EA wins this, hands down. A couple years ago, when Konami booted Hideo Kojima and then stopped him from accepting the reward for MGS, I can understand Konami being the most hated. However, that one incident pales in comparison to the hatred most gamers have for EA. (Yes, I realize that's not the only "incident" Konami has had, but it was the one that garnered the most attention.) As already mentioned, EA has been known for taking development studios and effectively destroying them. Their money-based focus (to the detriment of quality and innovation) has angered gamers for years.

Just played through Tales From The Borderlands (finished last night...well, technically this morning). What a great game. The soundtrack was pretty good too, with the music fitting in perfectly. Figured I'd share the licensed songs and then a couple originals for the game...

Episode 1: Jungle - Busy Earnin'

Episode 2: Shawn Lee's Ping Pong Orchestra feat. Nino Mochella - Kiss The Sky

Episode 3: The Rapture - Pieces of the People We Love (admittedly my least favorite of all these tracks)

Episode 4: Twin Shadow - To The Top (this song is so corny, but possibly made for my favorite "intro" because it fit so perfectly with what was happening in the game)

Episode 5: James Blake - Retrograde

Final Credits: First Aid Kit - My Silver Lining

And the original pieces that stuck out the most for me...

Prosperity Junction (reminds me a bit of Massive Attack's "Teardrop")

Vault Hunters Assemble

(Not sure why that last one won't pop up here, but I assure you the link works.)

The intro song to my favorite OST, written by my favorite composer, Yasunori Mitsuda.

Chrono Cross - Time's Scar

Also, you should watch this. It's wonderful, and it's comprised of the above track, a piece from Naruto, and even throw's in a bit of Yuna's theme from FFX.

Playing Nier Automata currently, and it's got an amazing soundtrack. Usually I prefer instrumental tracks in games, but the vocal versions are the best in Nier Automata.

Amusement Park:

Rays of Light:

Forest Kingdom:

Mourning:

Memories of Dust:

Damn, hearing these makes me even more sad that the game won't be getting an XB1 release. :-(

Anyway, here's my first submission. Technically, it's three songs in one, where the third song is actually the first two overlapped plus some harmonies and a beat and such (making it the perfect ending theme for the game).
