They're 90% text and dialogue interactions though, with the combat being very unimportant in the grand scheme of things, so you have to go in with those expectations or you might be expecting something different than what you get. --- Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |

It's not a catchy song but it syncs up very well with the animation and creates a great atmosphere, which is more important. In general I think the Tales series doesn't do a great job with its openings - both the animations and songs feel too much like generic anime openings, with exceptions (Ring a Bell is pretty slick). --- Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |

Feels like we left behind all the good ones with actual characterization and we got Flying Cowtits, I Can't Believe It's Not Catria, and two random girl characters from Sacred Stones (L'arachel is decent though). Granted Donnel was hardly a deep character either but he's dead now so I get to complain. --- Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |

Vesperia has a nonexistent main story and the one compelling plotline it does have gets forgotten about 2/3 of the way through. It's got the weakest story out of any of the Tales games I've played. The biggest 'complete package' game is Symphonia but it's aged poorly in several respects. --- Black Turtle did a pretty good job. |
