It's 17 years, yeah. There's not really any room for a Frodo movie from that time period, though, since he just lives his life. There are a lot of other things that happen, though, like Aragorn hunting Gollum, Gandalf running around doing research all over the place, etc.

Disney would find a way to make that money. I'm sure they would make up some adventure he would supposedly go on.

If they did buy it long ago we would have had LOTRs direct to video movies all throughout the 90's.

It's less of a right wing bias and more of a general troll bias. It's just that most trolls do a right winger gimmick cause it's easy so it looks that way. I assume keeping them around is just to make the numbers look good. I mean, I can't think of any other reason why they're so lenient on trolling no matter how obvious. While gamefaqs always had a shit reputation, but it's because of the shitty community. I didn't care for RO either. It wasn't terrible and it had some good parts, but it didn't interest me. If you like it then cool. It's silly to say it's completely terrible and has no merits, but it's also silly to write off everyone who didn't like it (or other SW movies) as haters or whatnot.

Republicans only do this to pander to the pro life and religious crowds. They know they can't get rid of abortion, but they do these bans to appease pro lifers.

As long as they say they love the unborn children (all the while taking away healthcare and making life harder for born ones) single issue voters will flock to them and don't care how Republicans are corrupt and how they currently make people's lives worse off including children they supposedly care about.

Jim Cornette recently had a good line about it. It didnt kill wrestling when people found out it was a work, it killed it when we stopped trying to convince them it wasnt.

Today's wrestlers and wrestling fans forgot that wrestling is supposed to be a predetermined athletic contest between wrestlers who were over the top. Now it's just silly crap or insane and overly choreographed spots and moves. Since all the normal casual fans go pushed out now it's mostly just the real hardcore nerds left who want their wrestling dumb and goofy like their comic books, video games, and anime. Not that liking any of those things is wrong, but some things need to be kept separate. Now everything is treated like a joke and the wrestlers and fans make fun of wrestling itself. Movies and TV shows are fake, but if they acknowledged right in the middle of the show/movie that the whole thing is fake and that the characters are actually just actors performing a show it ruins the whole thing.

Now we got people being flipped by some guy's dick, invisible hand grenades, thumb up the ass conga lines, and dance contests. Today's crap makes mid-90's WWF crap look like MMA.
