I ain't gonna sit here and argue about Tsushima's presence at E3. It being a huge game at the show is just a fact, there's no arguing against that.

Angolmois was really good, complete out of left field show from a no-name studio. Dark horse of the season maybe? There was zero hype or interest from what I could see.

They specifically stated that it was the result of wanting to respond to player feedback after the beta. Listening to feedback and putting it back into the oven to tune is about as competant as you can get in that situation. Alternatively, they pull a Ubisoft and release a mediocre game that they fix later, which I'm strongly opposed to.

Ahhh Overlord, it's like it never left.

Whole episode is basically just filler to reintegrate us, it's excellent stuff. Reinforcing that Ains is the best, getting us back in with the cast, introducing a few new characters, it's all real fun. Hell yeah at the Lizard people chilling at the castle. Other than more hints at Demiurge's awful background secrets, this is all just casual character building, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

I was neutral on her while playing, spent most of the game thinking Miu was best girl. Once I finished the game and thought about it, then I realized how fantastic a character Angie is. I could probably write an essay on why I think she's so great.

I haven't replayed aged V3 yet, but with my shock at her character arc worn off I do wonder what I would think going back.

Pfffff this season is fine, High School Girl is barely a blip on the radar. Of course that's mostly my tolerance for bad CG talking.

Honestly there are a ton of shows I had no expectations for that have worked for me, pleasantly surprised.

The biggest surprise is Back Street Girls being a huge flop after months of build up, ESPECIALLY with it's comedy competition. Guess it takes a skilled team to make a $5 anime work.
