When life is only downhill from there and there's nothing to look forward to besides your body and mind deteriorating until you die alone, I'll want kids to take my mind off that. lol In all seriousness, I like kids. I wouldn't wanna take care of any kids or deal with any of the bad parts right now in my life, but having kids one day doesn't sound bad to me. |

Its a good thing and you should do it, but its not like you're doing something special. Everyone does it and its really more of a bare minimum requirement than a special thing that puts you above others. Unreliableness posted... Everyone has an ulterior motive or selfish motive when being nice. Everyone. Whether it's getting laid or sucking up to someone or to avoid conflict or just to make themselves feel good that they were nice. No, there's absolutely people who will do nice things only to make the other person happy. And if a person does have an ulterior motive, they're not really nice. So they don't even have that going for them. And a lot of the "nice guy" types are bad at hiding the fact that they're not actually nice. |

Take the gun away from the killer, is that problem automatically solved? Of course not, he's still a dangerous person with an intent to kill. You can kill people with anything, look at the 2016 Nice attack where the dude killed a bunch of people with a truck. And if you're talking about the Nikolas Cruz shooting specifically, there was that whole FBI fuck up along with everything else. There was a lot of problems, not just the gun. Removing the gun from this scenario might've reduced the body count but it wouldn't have made the problem go away. Also, OP isn't really an argument. You can fill in the blanks with anything, whether it makes sense or not. |

The guy's an asshole if he's a Nazi but you still can't hit him just for being an asshole. Unless he was making threats or used violence first or something. |
