Yeah 4 is a strange game. It undoubtedly has the best combat system in the series, and probably one of the best combat systems in the genre period. The problem though is that the game isn't finished. Literally halfway through you just turn around and play through all of the same levels and bosses but in reverse. Yeah you get to play as Dante, and he's the most versatile he's ever been, but I feel like he would have been a lot more fun if he had his own levels and bosses to really capitalize on his play style.

Played through the whole collection the past couple of days. Whenever I feel like playing them I always just do all four games. They're short enough to get through quick and they really do feel like one cohesive game when played back to back.

0 is largely considered better than Kiwami. Since Kiwami is a remake of the first game, it's kinda beholden to its story structure. Some of the gameplay elements are cleaner in Kiwami, but by and large, 0 is considered the better experience.

That said, there's still a ton of side stuff to do in 0, so if that burns you out... *shrugs*

What kind of things are there?

How alive is the world? Are there merchants you can buy from? How about vehicle use? I notice there isnt much gun play which admittedly turns me off--is it just fists or are there bladed and blunt weapons?
