Seems like you risk exposing yourself trying to roll or slide or dash to try to get quickly behind someone.

Most people you'll come across have absolutely no idea how to fight correctly, and a single errant punch is more than enough time to get behind them if you choose (wouldn't be the best idea tbh, but w/e)

I have that same amp, actually.

Try pressing the little gray button on the left to make sure it's set to Lead, then turn the gain up. Also, turn the Mid knob down low and the Bass and Treble knobs higher. The other gray button (Mid Shift) might help too.

But yeah, a distortion pedal will help a lot more with getting the sound.

Nice.

Yeah, I made sure lead was on, and tried with/without rythym being on.

Started around 1/2 gain, slowly increased it as I went, but didn't seem to help. The pitch definitely got closer to what I want, but it was pretty flat.

Will try the other suggestions regarding mids base and treble.

Tyvm :)

Cool, cool...

I guess I'll hit up guitar center tomorrow and see what they have.

Related question: are there any songs I should try to make sure my knobs and such are actually correct (and that I need a pedal), before I invest in one to find it wasn't the problem?

Ozzy's Diary of a Madman's intro sounds great (the very very beginning before the song "drops in"), so I'm leaning towards the pedal being the problem, but I'd like to be sure...

No pedal unfortunately, and it doesn't seem the tutorial vid does either, but it's hard to tell.

May be something I need to look into...

First of all let me say I'm very new to this so I apologize if this is a dumbass question.

I have an Acoustic brand G20 amp- this one here:

http://acousticamplification.com/product/acoustic-g20-guitar-amp-combo/

Basically no matter how I set my knobs I can't get that "electric" sound. It comes out really tinny and hollow sounding.

The guitar is perfectly in tune, and the notes are coming out nice and clear (so I don't believe my fretting is the problem), but it sounds... Empty I guess.

I'm trying to play Seek and Destroy (
), and though I'm matching the guy note for note I can't match the "whiny" sound in the intro. It comes out almost sad and bluesish.

Any advice is much appreciated.

I've heard some people have added games to their system using certain means I won't get into.

Anyone else ever wonder if those people had to reinstall the games that were already on the console? Or did they stay, with the new ones just being added?

I'm wondering for curiosity's sake <_<
