You can't use jecht shot during that match can you? Tidus needs the lv+stats to use it, are these attainable in a single half, even by repeatedly passing back and forth? Do you even get to set techs in the second half? I've never tried...

Yeah, I'm a pretty huge football (american) fan, and I also enjoy wrestling, but current WWE is just... Ugh...

I still follow it by reading up on it, but I don't bother to watch it live anymore.

Not to say I don't watch WWE, but I tend to watch older stuff on the network. Watched the Slamboree (Spring Stampede?) 1992 earlier, Sting vs Vader (RIP) was terrific, and looked stiff as hell.

I miss the days where a heel could get crazy heat from something as simple as a couple close-fisted punches.

To be fair Isaac Hayes kinda brought it on himself when he of all people didn't understand that Matt Stone and Trey Parker make fun of EVERYTHING regardless of how you felt about it.

It may have been fun in the 90's when he was still in his early 20's, but when you are 40 years old and still voicing a character for a show where the writers are still acting like edgy 14 year olds then it's time to change. The show has gone to shit.

I'm a filthy casual with rock and metal, but I like a lot of stuff and since you mentioned them, I love Alice in Chains. I've seen them twice with William DuVall. He's pretty cool.

Nice, I almost saw them last year, but cancelled at the last minute :(

Last good concert I went to was Megadeth/Amon Amarth, which also had Metal Church, Suicidal Tendencies, and a band called Butcher Babies (2 smoking hot girls playing decent music).

Damn good show.

As a huge fan of metal and rock music, I decided to start this topic on an attempt to get some good music discussion going, and hopefully find some new bands to jam to. I live in Redneckville USA, so my local metal scene is basically non-existent, and it's hard for me to find new bands :/

Let's see... As you can tell my favorite bands are on my sig, I guess I'll give a brief rundown of each and see where the conversation goes from there...

Slayer- Absolutely love them. Some of their music is hit or miss (Undisputed Attitude), but when they're good, they're phenomenal. Some of my favorite songs from them are Skeletons of Society, South of Heaven (also the first song I ever played to completion on guitar), and especially World Painted Blood (that video...). Also anything on the God Hates Us All album.

Megadeth- Huge fan of Dave Mustaine despite him being a literal douchenozzle, he's a goddamn wizard with an axe. They've been pretty consistent for decades now, and I really respect that. Some of my favorite songs are Holy Wars, 1000 times goodbye, and Trust.

Amon Amarth- it took me a couple years before I could tolerate Johan Hegg's vocals, but the rest of the band was great enough that it was worth dealing with him. Nowadays he seems to blend much better with the band, and I quite like him. Favorite songs include As Loke Falls (killer riff), Deceiver of the Gods, The Hero, and of course Twilight of the Thunder God.

Alice in Chains- they're a bit more mellow than most bands I listen to, but the combination of Jerry Cantrell's picking ability and Layne Staley's (R.I.P.) phenomenal voice makes them one of my favorites. Favorite songs include Would, I Stay Away (my all time favorite music video), and Grind. Anything from Jar of Flies is great as well.

But enough about my stuff, what about you?
