I have the Official Design Works books for P3, P4, and P4A, and they're so cool. --- |

Anyway, glad I finally made it back. Wasn't expecting where I was to be a completely dead area in terms of reception, so thanks for keeping it alive. I came back to find my NES Classic, MMX Legacy Collection, the first volume of the Final Fantasy Ultimania in English for the first time ever (which covers FF1-6 and is a whopping 335 pages), Nozaki-kun vol. 9, and the title to my car that they finally sent me after I paid it off last month. although on the not fun side it looks like there was a high probability that somebody ransacked the church while I was away, but they didn't take anything of value that I can discern so maybe they were just looking for money --- |

Zidane Tribal (Final Fantasy IX) The Good: Simply put, I like Zidane because he's someone who's always willing to go out of his way to help others, even people who would be considered his enemies. I like that it's so ingrained in him that when The Bad: There are a few aspects of Zidane's character that get overplayed, like his flirtatious nature. They really dragged out the romance between Dagger and him, too. It's clear pretty early on that they both like each other, but they continue pretending they don't until all the way up to the end. It's kinda middle schoolish, really. Also, for all the talk of Cloud and Squall being brooding and moody, neither one of them started moping so badly that the game literally makes you take control of another character to move the story forward. The Best: That being said, I still love the "You're Not Alone" scene because of what a role reversal it is, with everyone having to get Zidane back on track instead of it being the other way around. Perhaps my favorite Zidane moment though is --- |
