Trump wasn't status quo at all. The media loudly yelled every day about how abnormal and not like a normal politician he was (because they thought that would hurt him, because theyre really fucking stupid)

And did that overturn the status quo? What about anything else Trump's done?

I'm actually not sure, I also have a tough time believing it except that a) this guy is an idiot which makes it more plausible and b) I've seen it passed around as legitimate multiple times with no callouts.

As the article I posted points out, what made Google a successful product was offering broad access to information. The more they restrict information in the name of social justice, the less overall value they offer to society.

Google's popularity is tied to giving you the information you want quickly; there's nothing "broad" about it. There's even a meme about how no one ever looks past the first page of results.

Also this is about ads, not information services. No one uses Google because its ads are so great (aside from, I guess, advertisers).
