This is why I keep the exp-null ring equipped at all times until Im at the triple-exp hotel.

theres a 5 part anime that gave you some insight on each of the main character's backstories

then the platinum demo gets you an extra summon in the main game IIRC

I think you can still get Carbuncle without the demo, the demo just lets you name it.

Also you only get Carbuncle in easy mode anyway.

Two collectibles can absolutely be the BEGINNING of one, particularly since it was also the first time they required a full set of collectibles to get to the true final boss and ending.

DKC3 was the beginning of Rare's obsession with collectibles, so I'll always hold that against it. Plus, Kiddy and Ellie are terrible. Other than that, pretty fun game.

DKC2 was the one to introduce Kremkoins and DK Coins though. It did them well, to be sure, but Id call that the beginning of that.

My wife actually just bought us a pair of Pokmon Go Plus a week ago (complete surprise to me). Gyms around here change hands regularly too (though Team Red seems to be the most common). So yeah, theres definitely still an active playerbase out there.

Can confirm $14.99 as US price for the Royal Pack stand-alone. Theres also a new $.49 DLC weapon, but its a recolored version of the Blazefire Saber. Havent looked to see if the stats are any better.

Bit.Trip Beat belongs in the Definitive Versions list. That's the one Bit.Trip that's just really designed for Wiimote use.

Fortunately that one has a physical release so wont be completely lost to history.

Im actually replaying AA1 right now (3DS ver.). Just as fun as I remember. Looking forward to finally playing (!!) the sequels.

Puyo Puyo Tetris is indeed a blast. I still have barely touched that story mode though.

Yeah, Pixar also does more sequels than the main Disney team. I had to look into Planes and while I knew Pixar didnt make it - that was DisneyToon, who did a lot of the direct-to-video stuff - I was not aware that John Lasseter had story involvement on that one.

And...thats all the sequels theyve made. I guess Three Caballeros is a sequel to Saludos Amigos, but those were package films anyway.

Can't look into them yet, but I know Donald applied with the FEC to be a candidate last year on the day of his inauguration. I think this is over a year earlier than the next earliest reelection bid too -- Obama in about April 2011.

Is the advantage here campaign funding (in a way he wasn't already getting from the FEC as mentioned above), shutting down primary challengers, dominating the news cycle, show of strength...? I don't get it.

What I read was it was his campaign manager who was announced today. Brad Parscale, who was the digital director on Trumps 2016 campaign.

Although Wii is still the best system of choice for Bit.Trip Beat, you use motion controls to twist the remote around kinda like a pong controller in bar form. It just feels really great that way so the game loses a lot in the ports (including a 3DS port) imho

Fortunately thats one where the Wii version will still be available, thanks to the existence of a physical collection of the whole original series.
