By the way, I've looked at the title screen and noticed that it shows all of your potential party members in that dark silhouette style. Obviously this includes Futaba, the girl Makoto saw in the limo, and one boy. Guessing the boy is the detective.

They show them all on the PS4 start screen. Pretty spoilery of the game.

Aww, one of the more interesting facets of the game to me was seeing normal places warped into crazy dungeons. I've seen Egyptian tombs and scantily-dressed pharaoh queens before, I was hoping for her palace to be a normal house or a prison or a hospital or the internet or something. I did enjoy the Indiana Jones boulder with computer symbols and a bar code, though.

Well, the theme is cliched places that thieves typically rob (although the next dungeon obscures that little). It's kind of neat in retrospect.

The attacks in BBS really suck. They're so laggy and slow, and a ton can't even be used in midair.

Honestly BBS isn't very good. It has subtle differences that make it worse than the titles made by the series' "A" team (worse camera, worse lock-on, bad boss design).

Also, rewatching footage from Smash 4 Wii U, you can really tell they reworked everything; at least graphically. Both in the models and the animations, it's a pretty big upgrade.

Attacks definitely hit harder than in Smash 4. It might be faster too, but I was playing as Ridley who was pretty slow, so it's hard to tell.

Still it's just a demo, so it's hard to say. It plays similar to 4, but so does Brawl at a glance. I think it will really come down to what the non-gameplay features (single-player, stages, etc.) are like.

Played as Ridley already. Guy's super slow, but pretty strong. Neutral B is Fireball, FB is a dash-grab thing like Ganon, DownB is this weird stabbing and dramatically froze time when I used it. UpB is like Charizard. Super cool.

That's the one with Jaq, right? I actually found that to be the easiest of the escorts. Although I attribute it to me doing that as the last one so I knew the best strategy was to cheese it using crowd control abilities.

I found Terra's to be the hardest (although it only took about three tries). As before, the lack of experience was the main problem.

I mean it probably just means they haven't recorded her lines yet, she is voiced in the Japanese trailers

That's the thing, she seems to be the only character that doesn't have a dub voice for some reason.

At first it wasn't that noticeable, but they literally muted her out in this latest one. As I said, I hope this means they're trying to get Mandy Moore back, which means maybe she'll voice Aerith again...?

Proud kicked my ass in the first boss fight (Terra). I had to restart like eight times. Aside from that, and the beginning with Aqua, it was okay. I don't think I'd ever want to do Critical. The camera sucks way too much to put up with that bullcrap.

Which is pronounced exactly the same as "keyblade" and yet for some reason everyone reacts with shock and confusion when they first hear it. What, are they somehow able to read the subtitles?

My favorite part is when Ventus gets frozen solid and thrown off a cliff; Aqua runs up to him and asks "You okay?" with all the concern and emotion of someone who had just seen him stumble over his shoes. And you get to watch that scene three times.
