Concert was in an outdoor amphitheater during a down pour. The seats and stage were under a shelter while the lawn area was open to the elements. Everyone in the lawn area looked miserable standing in mud getting soaked so the lead singer jumped off the stage and ran out into the lawn area to sing two songs with the crowd. I thought that was cool of him to do. --- |

Reason being, if you needed to use a respirator mask for enclosed spaces or in case of a fire, the hair would break the seal of a mask. They used to say "no thicker than the thickness of a credit card". For me that meant shaving every other day. After 5 years, I left that job and immediately grew a beard.
