Review is often full of irrelevant points like sounds the shoes make when wearing them at malls, full of annoying shoe collector terms like 'Gonna COP these Nikes!" and other dumb shit. It's a fucking joke. Let's look at what a lot of these people have to deal with: - Surviving on a day to day basis is a struggle making it hard to think long term - No time to study because you're always needing to find ways to make money to put food on the table - Higher chances of being involved with gangs, drugs - Higher chance of being a teenage parent - Little or no positive role models, likely look up to gang leaders And combine this with an evolving society where you need a high level of education and skill set to get decent jobs and lower level jobs disappearing, a lot of these people are basically hopeless. But 'bootstraps', right? That'll fix it? --- |

It's fucking sad how much praise these games get. Nintendo releases something that's a decade behind the times and it gets a 100 metacritic score across 60 reviews and praised as the second coming of Jesus. Look at Breath of the Wind. They basically took a generic empty open world and dumped Zelda characters in it and topped it off with a half-assed story. And people were shitting their pants in excitement over it. --- |
