I don't agree with everything the NRA does. I think they do cause problems by their inaction, and especially them being against ANY regulation that tights gun control. There are sensible gun control laws that they really don't even seem to want to talk about. Their solution is mainly in increased security and education- which I support but doesn't have anything that doesn't affect how hard it is to get a gun. But I really don't think this is some sort of mastermind conspiracy to line the pockets of the NRA chairmen.

This also isn't to say I agree with the other side though. I think they are putting forward too many stupid laws that won't work/aren't practical and are slinging too much inaccurate information as well as slander that they can't even be taken seriously.

The research and talks shouldn't have anything to do with limiting guns. These types of shootings have only been a real problem for about 20 years and becoming more frequent within the past 5-10 years, yet, guns used to be much more of a norm in our society 50 years ago than they are now. Guns have been around a long time and these shootings did not occur like they are now.

I agree, and I really think one important thing the "leftists" aren't getting is that taking away guns from crazy people isn't REALLY fixing the problem. The problem lies in the fact that our society has people willing to perform these evil acts.

If you truly think this then you're incapable of rational judgement and empathy. Neither side wants people to die, neither side is lobbying for the sake of financial gain. Both sides just have different ways of approaching the problem.

No, I've only heard the original (she showed me the page on voc.com). I should add that the first time I heard it, I did actually hear yanny, but once I heard laurel it became 100% obvious that that's what it was, even though I could still "trick" myself into hearing yanny again by not focusing on the lower frequencies.

oh you should check out the Twitter version then, the yanny is even more prominent. Like you, I heard yanny the first time and now I only hear laurel. But since I heard yanny once I know what to listen for so I can train myself to hear it again.

It obviously has both in the edit, and just laurel in the original. This isn't really a matter of perspective. Though likely a more discerning ear would be able to tell the difference more easily. Other than that though the audio was meant to trick people.

Then why do people like my girlfriend still ONLY hear yanny in the original clip? It couldn't possibly be that the structure of the sounds that make up the word lead to ambiguous interpretation, right?

did you listen to the original and the twitter clip side by side? there's a clear difference in quality, which isn't really up for debate. the low quality/"doctored" one emphasizes the high frequency modulation which happens to sound like a different word. and from there different people discern different interpretations between the low and high

Yeah I liked how in KH1 you were basically fighting the Disney Legion of Doom. In KH2 they put way more emphasis on the anime aspect and Disney kinda got thrown to the wayside. The Disney stuff nowadays just feels like an afterthought

exactly. KH1 was a Disney powerhouse with some Final Fantasy thrown in, which are my two favorite things in the world.

I played KH1 and KH2, and when they started introducing all that Order stuff I remember it being harder to keep track of what was going on. Then they introduced all those other side games and I just had no interest in any of them. Now I feel like I wont be able to get into KH3 because of all those other games that I never got into.

yeah there's a ton of side stuff that i'm kinda just like k i don't care. i'll honestly probably just go as far as what the trophies ask for then move on.

The only things that can't be reaction command destroyed are the mushroom xiii in the final mix version, and lingering will.

is this a real thing? if so that's absurd. i mean, a lot of them can't be "destroyed" by it, like the standard nobodies where you just Reversal and it disorients them. but it certainly helps.

I've been playing Kingdom Hearts for the first time actually on PS4. I'm playing the final boss right now.

I started to dislike the level design in KH1 when I was near the end of Halloweentown. The platforming was way too floaty. I've liked the level design in 2 better, but the game has turned into a button masher. And yeah, the story isn't interesting at all anymore. Organization XIII sucks

i agree KH1 worlds aren't perfect, but they're a ton more immersive than what i've seen in KH2 so far.

From purely that standpoint, none of the worlds in 2 really bring you into the origin movie. Land of Dragons was a joke, Underworld was short and unengaging, Hollow Bastion there's nothing there...

Like, remember Aladdin's world? Between the city and the temple catacombs those were some cool levels. It really fleshed out the vibe of the movie.

Like you get the one when you get Valor form, but you can't fucking switch the two. So you get this shiny new keyblade but it only works in Drive form.

yeah there's the one only for Valor, then you get a magic one that DECREASES your strength, so nah.

I played through KH1 and got the plat trophy. Just started KH2 and it's making me realize how bad this game is.

The combat would be better if they didn't add so many fuckin triangle attacks. You barely have to even fight anymore, you just hit X a few times then spam triangle.

The worlds are all extremely quick and barely immersive.

All the bosses are super easy (I'm playing on Critical Mode)

I honestly haven't played this game in so long so I kinda forget what there is left to do, but so far I'm just like bleh get me out of here. Bring on KH3

I can't seem to find it but it was basically proving how little attention most guys pay to other guys clothing. He walks around with a little cardboard fixture and put it around their neck to obscure the shirt and the guys would have no idea what color the shirt was.

tl;dr, As a permanent "enters the battlefield", is it considered a "permanent you control"? Enter the battlefield implies it resolves right? As opposed to "cast", which can be countered.

This one combo in particular I'm thinking of, Naba, Dean of Iteration and Naru Meha, Master Wizard.

Naru has Flash and "When he enters the battlefield, copy target instant or sorcery you control. You may choose new targets for the copy. Other wizards you control get +1/+1."

Naban has "If a Wizard entering the battlefield under your control causes a triggered ability of a permanent you control to trigger, that ability triggers an additional time."

So basically I'm asking will Naban cause Naru to trigger itself? Can I copy an instant/sorcery again?
