Gamestop's temporary listing shows it at $50. Not quite full-priced.

If I get the opportunity, it's Tristan und Isolde. They're being accompanied by the Cleveland Orchestra.

I do not have a wife or a girlfriend, nor do I expect that situation to change. I've more or less made my peace with that, it's not quite where I'm going with this.

The thing is, there's an opera on Saturday (with a couple more shows coming up). I'd like to go, but it's on the other side of town and it's kind of weird to go to one of these by yourself. I should know, I tried it once and people around me (all couples) got kind of weirded out. Not my fault, I like Offenbach.

It's times like this having a standing date would be nice. I'd like to be able to watch an opera, which in this case is a romance, and just enjoy it for what it is without feeling self-conscious about it.

I'd have recommended one of the scarier series. You won't have much time for gaming once they're back, but even less of a chance for Resident Evil unless you want to be the one to go in and check on your kid when he's screaming because of nightmares.

Cheating... if you're counting finding Easter eggs, then the HSWWSH in Yar's Revenge. If you mean cheating to just get in-game benefits, then I don't know which game it was, but I remember the device was called the Infinity Machine. It was a cartridge you plugged into the Commodore 64, and you were supposed to get different effects depending on certain inputs. It worked, sort of, but not always.

I take issue with the "social skills and networking" thing. Speaking from experience, if someone is being bullied in a public school, then their social skills will be diminished and networking opportunities will be non-existent. I don't know if moving everybody to a virtual setting is the right answer, but certainly parents and students should have the option if the in person setting isn't working out for them.

Now, Funyuns are ok, but there was a different brand that did the same thing that I liked better. I wish I could remember what they were, but they only sold them in our snack machine at work for a short time.

Pork > Beef > Chicken

I'm spoiled by my mother being partially of Eastern European descent. She does fantastic pork chops, and there are all kinds of ways of using pork that most people don't readily think of. (And don't forget barbecue pork ribs.)

Beef is ubiquitous, and a lot of foods just can't happen without it. With that said, I'm hard pressed to remember any memorable meals involving beef.

I hate to put down chicken, but someone else was right: it needs flavoring. It's part of some of my favorite foods, but it can't hold up by itself. Compare that to steak, or (again) to pork chops.

I'm in my final class in my master's degree program. I've got my first assignment due tonight, but I can't get the information I need. I'm supposed to determine several aspects of 3-5 companies' approaches to clinical transformation, and use a database in the process.

Finding companies isn't hard, and using the database isn't hard, but companies seem to be understandably reluctant when it comes to explaining the way they deliver services. I can't get anything, and I've been working on this assignment for the last couple of days. I'm going to have to take a late penalty on this assignment.

I'm reaching out to Board 8 on this one. When you're trying to research a company's methodology, what resources do you use when the company itself isn't willing to give up the information on their website?

Fit in a day trip to Leeds Castle. The grounds are amazingly beautiful. (The castle's interior is ok for history.)

Obviously hit the big sights in London. The Crown Jewels at the Tower of London are pretty cool, and the rest of the treasure in the exhibit is positively breathtaking.

Read up on travel scams. It's not that England is inhabited by a bunch of thieves, it's that you'll be a tourist and probably an easy mark. Don't go looking for action in Soho, for example.

Unless you want to spend tons of time in Bath, then you can make it a day trip from London with Stonehenge included. There are companies that provide tours.
