Thats pretty much the exact same odds in my spider scenario depending on if you were on coin or not. Im not believing someone coined out the darkness.

It would be during the tgt era because thats when it happened to me. So you only have to worry about tgt and before. Standard didnt start until old gods iirc.

I used my tickets on three accounts. Two of them had 7 and one had 3.

1. Oddy UW, Ezekiel UW, draconic mask, 4 class Uws, 1 stone of infinity.

2. Shamilla UW, beads, sorcerers black dagger (why), 4 class uws. (Shamillas is the second one so its 1* now).

3. Loraine UW, Lewisa UT, 2 class Uws.

I consider the first one to be a good set. The dragon mask was one of the items I really wanted.

Second set sucked

Third set was amazing considering I only had three tickets.

The tickets only give two options which I mean is two options you can choose but thats a lot of farming. Like I already farm for npc boxes and sometimes I barely hit that.

Hearthstone is not a game about can I beat this guy if I see him on ladder or arena. Its like how many games out of 10 do I reasonably think I can take from a certain player.

Like I legimately think I could take like 7 of 10 from like amaz or trump on ladder but probably only 3 to 4 from dog or muzzy.

For that matter Ive played dog probably the most out of any pro player and my win rate against him is abysmal (mainly because I always seem to get him when hes running a major counter to my deck).

Just had the best arena game.

Im a mage and played frozen clone into a shamans turn 9 hoping to hit master of realities into totem or something. But instead I get TWO SHUDDERWOCKS

I was like holy fuck because I have 2 of those discover a spell that costs six less, wild lands adventurer, adapt battlecries, elemental synergy you name it.

So I play the first one and get some value but the shaman has volcano and a couple turns later got another volcano from frog. In any case Im just playing stuff trying not to over commit too much but keeping in mind my deck is not threat heavy.

So on his turn he drops ragnaros into a pretty full board and totems and passes. Even though my board is large its a bunch of gibberers. Even so Im not really in a major spot I can lose unless I get really unlucky or make a huge misstep.

In any case its time to play the second shudderwock as a recap a previous one gave me a 0 mana fireball Ive been saving. I also have a 0 mana blizzard in my hand from way before. He just goes wild with battlecries giving my shudderwock windfury and divine shield. I go face with everything and use a conceal I got from wildlands (from shudderwock) for hand size issues. I also got a sylvanas from wildlands (from shudderwock).

So he plays some taunts and totems.

I draw into a free molten reflection and if youve noticed the cards in my hand its easy to figure out where this was going. Free blizzard. Kill off taunts with my 1/1s. Kill the totem. Go face with the rest. Summon sylvanas, fireball it stealing rag, molten reflection on rag.

Its too bad like I basically won the game when I got the two shudderwock and it wasnt like some I was at 1 hp and had 0 cards in my deck.

I have not been doing well in constructed (mostly due to not playing) but I have been crushing arena. Had a six win warlock and thats coming off of multiple 8 win mages and shamans.

Warriors no longer have base toughness. Its probably the difference between squeaking by 8-1 and not.

That said on my main Im getting close to clearing it on normal but I dont think Ill he able to finish 8-26 until I get better gear.

Just hit 8 wins with Paladin too. So I have at least 7 with Mage, Shaman, Druid, and Paladin.

IMO Mage has benefited the most with the new cards as I think it puts them into tier 1 for this format. Shaman is also really strong but requires you to draft particular cards. Master of realities combos are just insane.

Druid I mean druid sometimes has UI so most of the time you play control as druid and try to do stuff like summon bigger and bigger murlocs right now. That card that brings out the highest cost minion in each players deck is I want to say it's usually bad because people are drafting giants and other things right now and to be honest even as a druid you don't always get a lot of good high costed minions.

Paladins 1 mana buff card is fine but you have to work maybe a little too hard to make it impactful. So the class still heavily relies on things like Steed, stonehill, and other power cards (which I did not have in my arena and my run ended to someone who did so).

Had two insane comebacks one as shaman and the other as Druid in arena

The shaman was against another shaman. On turn 1 I played a frog and got unstable evolution. he had like a huge advantage for almost the entire game. I was pretty much dead. My board is empty and he has some small to medium minions and a big damaged dude.

I have a free corridor creeper in my hand and play it into unstable and get the divine shield charge and kill a big minion that was already damaged. I play unstable and get voidlord. I play corpse raiser and unstable it twice into stormwind champion. I cant totem because were 9 mana.

He summons a taunt and cant kill my voidlord without destroying his board. The next turn I drop a second stormwind champion and basically sealed the game.

As for the Druid. The Druid deck I have is not that great. I was facing a mage and used some clears and I was really low. I managed to keep his minion count low but I was certain he had direct damage in his deck.

He has a secret up he got from the special put a spell on top of your deck minion so it could be anything. I have a 5/3 thresh on the field and a 2/4 discover instead of draw card and other small minions. He had just summoned a lot of stuff but could not kill off the discover minion.

My turn I discover the hall of fame girl and she gets me conceal the secret is mirror and I kill it with the thresh and make trades to put him at four power. I summon kobold monk and use the conceal. He hits me for 4 (putting me to 4) and summons bone drake and pings one of my minions

I discover sleepy dragon and play it i kill bone drake with the 5/5. And trade the 3 1/1s into one of his minions.

He plays ysera (from bone drake) and passes. Remember I didnt hero power because I needed to play sleepy dragon.

I discover that card that summons that summons the highest attack minion from both players decks and play it because the other 2 cards sucked. The card gives me lethal if I live next turn. Im on mobile and I have no clue whats in my deck right now except for a UI I really wanted to find. I hero power and Kill his small minion and then go all face because I cant lill ysera.

He goes and doesnt have awakens or dream (dream puts me at 1 without a burn spell because of monk). So he plays stuff and passes.

The monsters that pop up for me with a shroombrewer and for him is that 4/10 taunt. This stops my lethal. But I still have my discover and grab wrath which allows me to wrath for 3, his the taunt with the 6 attack, hero power (putting me at 2) and the rest of my minions were enough for exact lethal.

What is good though is that now fire dragon gear becomes a little more viable due to being able to get mana recovery options.

Whats annoying is that min maxing is significantly harder if its still all rng based.

I drafted a mage and got a ton of special event cards. I picked one almost every time they came up even if I thought the other cards might be better.

I am 6-1 right now, straight off top decking that 2/2 that puts a random spell into your hand giving me a flame strike.

Played some more games. Last night was pretty bad but I actually ended up about even. Today though was fairly good. Played a lot of decks I havent (token Druid, taunt Druid, midrange hunter for a quest, and odd rogue). But did pretty well with combo priest (slightly updated) but still running the pyro list. I took out hymn, and a scalebane for an elixir and a stormwind knight (which actually won me the first game).

Like I just had a game where I won versus a token Druid in fatigue because I cleared out both of his wisp boards. He also like UIed twice and was about 8 cards ahead of me in total after factoring in all the orient draw too.

Had a game before that where a taunt Druid like just hadronoxed and killed it and I was like I am now going to buff my primordial drake, silence all your minions, and hit you for like 60+ damage (which was actually only like maybe 10 more hp than he had).

I say control meta but its more like slow meta with comboish decks. There are very few viable control decks beyond like taunt Druid and you can say thats like a two card combo deck

Zalae bought a list to dreamhack. Like I made my list before I knew he did that so they vary a bit in the style. I think his list is probably more consistent in terms of like not having a lot of dead cards, but mine has better matchups versus token strategies and I have more mid game pressure beyond just combo which I think is really good right now in this control type meta.
