Was stomping this round, but Kent the Problem Solver went to solve the problem of the boss by using an Armor Slayer, but the Boss decided now was the time for a Critical Hit and my man Kent went down. If you're still in Lyn's story, don't worry too much about it. Any characters that fall in battle during her part of the story aren't permanently killed off. They'll still show up in the Eliwood/Hector part of the story later, but you'll lose the level ups you got in Lyn's story and they'll come with default base stats. For some characters (Kent is one of them) they're a couple levels higher than you first met them in Lyn's story, but probably lower than the level-ups you got for them in those earlier chapters. | Calwings 06/07/18 10:51:20 PM #7 | Story 5, and it's not even close. See "best villain" below for the main reason why. Main Character 1 or 2 for male, 3 for female. Brendan's hat sucks, but at least it's not Lucas' dorky beret in gen 4. Rival 1 for Gary's badassery, but Wally in 3 has the best character development, plus his awesome battle theme and Starters 3 for the best combination of looks and competitive usefulness. Legendaries 4 and 7 for coolness of legends introduced, but 6 for the sheer variety that you can catch in OR/AS. Villain 5 for Ghetsis. The dude was a fucking psychopath, came the closest to achieving his goal, and actually World 4, Sinnoh and Johto/Kanto were beautifully well made. The regions in 5 onwards felt way too linear and dull. After E4 Gameplay 6 for the variety of Pokemon that can be caught (especially in OR/AS) but 4 (both Pt and HG/SS) for actual gameplay modes. --- "Someday I too will fly... and find you again!" https://imgur.com/MqGwvOm |
