You're probably right. That said, as a teacher you influence a ton of lives. I can see that being appealing to people.

A mix of male and female authority figures when you're growing up is probably a good thing.

If you're talking about college professors, I probably had more males than females, and I think going into academia at that level is a totally valid profession.

The Batmobile was boring. The villain interactions weren't nearly as interesting as Arkham City. And the "big reveal" was disappointing.

Also Lando fucks robots. He is in love with his female droid L3, and they make it a point to explicitly state that "it [sex] can work" between them, however in the OT his droid is a "male"; this means Lando not only fucks droids, but is bisexual as well.

I almost walked out when the Imperial recruiter asked Han his last name, Han said he doesn't have a family name, and recruiter pauses for several seconds in thought over him having "nobody", then dsignates him "Solo". That ended up being one of the less egregious moments of the film.

I don't get the obsession with ice. How cheap are American restaurants that they can't give you 2 more cents of soda or 5 more cents worth of milk in your latte? Every place PACKS the cup full of ice... even worse is when they pack it with crushed ice. I used to ask for "light ice" and they'd still fill 50% of the cup with ice. Now I have to say "EXTRA LIGHT on the ice" just to get it down to 25%. Like, god damn, it shouldn't be this difficult to get a reasonable amount of ice in your drink.

I honestly think it comes down to "this is how it's always been, so this is how we serve it". Is it really only an American thing?

It's definitely not because the restaurant is too cheap, or else they wouldn't let their employees drink from the soda machine whenever they want (it's been this way at every restaurant I worked at).

People are saying Summerset Isle, but idk if I'd like it if it was just that and nothing more. It's small and isolated. Also, I'd only be able to take so much high elf arrogance before I lose my mind.

I haven't been following the leaks that closely, but if it's a literal remake (as in, the story of RBY again with little to no change other than graphical/gameplay updates) then I'll probably skip out on it because I've played those games a hundred times. If it's a sequel, or even some "alternate universe" bullshit, I'll give it a chance.

It's just strange. Game Freak has always avoided putting out a remake first on a new console.
