I'm about to start reading Hawkeye issue 1.

I picked Hawkeye purely because I thought he sounded cool. Some people told me it was a 'weird start', but whatever, I just want to read what i'm drawn to, not what's 'most popular'. I've heard enough about other classics to not be too interested.

Well i did punch somethings and now my hand hurts. I also threw water and now the inside of my car is soaked. Feel a bit better but only because I'm distracted by regret.

Idk i just feel like i cannot talk to people about my emotions. Perhaps thats my fault because I hate being judged. But the people who i consider closest with me tend to argue what I'm feeling or even dismiss what I'm saying. That shit makes me even more mad so i bottle it up. Now all the frustration is overflowing and i probably broke my hand and radio.

I can share a little bit about my personal experience, I guess.

I used to have a problem with negative emotions, anger, etc. Probably not quite as extreme as you're describing, but I've had some issues.

Nowadays though, I'm at complete peace, better than I've ever been(and no, my life is not 'good').

I've found that the key to success for me, while it may sound difficult, was just to be a 'good person'. Do wrong to nobody, don't judge anybody, expect nothing, and if somebody does something to you, just walk away and forget about it.

You're the only person you can control, so if you're content with yourself, then nothing else can hurt you.

I have no anger or malice in my life. Just peace. It's all about how you choose to live.

And yeah, to address what some people have said about difficulty of the game. Yeah, it's pretty hard. The game is taking it's gloves off in world 2 already and some of these levels are pretty tough.

Like other people have said though, it's difficult in a fair and fun way (so far).

I know you just started it but is it worth the money? I want to pick something up for my Switch because its been collecting dust.

It's a really good platformer so far. I'm halfway through world 2. Supposedly there's quite a bit of post-game stuff too.

Changing difficulties at anytime during your playdough is another spoiled luxury that modern games have. I really can't remember any games before like 2000 that let you change the difficulty level anytime you want. It's tradition to just select a how hard you want it at the beginning, and that's what you're doing.

Also gotta love how pretty much the only criticism of Tropical Freeze was "it's too difficult." So Nintendo adds an easy mode, and people still complain lol.

"The easy mode was too hard to select!"

So I tune in and this guy is in Cap Kingdom. He's on his first playthrough but as just entered the post game and started exploring. The first thing he does is run over to where the hidden hint art star is in the kingdom and ground pound.

Then, he immediately starts complaining that that was stupid game design and how would anyone know to just randomly ground pound at a random spot on the ground for no reason?

Then I'm like, "so how did you know it was there then?"

and he says he's using a guide.

Dude isn't even trying to play or understand the game and is bitching about game design he knows nothing about.

Was a fast d/c from me.

It's also probably best to watch it after at least beating world 2 because then you can truly appreciate just how bad the review is.

Sounds like he needs to get gud.

I played this game when it came out, and it was no harder than the original trilogy of DKC. It's a challenging platformer, that's the point.

Its absolutely more challenging than the SNES trilogy when going for 100%. None of the SNES levels come close to 2-K, 4-K, 5-K or all of world 7.

That's good though.

Who wants to play a platformer and just run through the game and be done?

Finishing a game like this should be a challenge that you have to work towards.

Honestly this is the only point of his review that I agreed with. I'm excited to play as Funky Kong but I don't want to be stuck with him the whole time. I want to play the game normally then go back to random levels and mess around as FK. Does this mean I'll need two save files?

Honestly I agree too. Difficulty in a game like this should be swap-able.

However, I saw an opportunity to make a stab, so I took it. Personally the difficulty thing won't bother me, since I'm not going to use funky. I know what I'm made of.

But the option should be there.

it's not just the southern states. don't pin this entirely on them

Let me put it this way, southern states are the only ones that teach the Civil War as 'The War of Northern Aggression' and ignore slavery in favor of 'State's Rights'. Good luck finding out about Jim Crow Laws as well.

I went to school in the South and I've never even heard of the first term until the Internet, and the way we were taught about the war was never angled that way. We were told it was mostly fault over slavery, we were told about Jim Crow Laws, and we watched several movies about the abolition of slavery and the Tubman stuff, etc.

So let's dispel of this fiction that the South is teaching their kids what you're saying, because maybe it's happening somewhere, but it's definitely not the norm.

I don't feel like anything I was ever taught was pro-slavery material or slanted in any way. And I come from the deep country, too.

Yes, she was. The only way to argue otherwise is to suggest she asked for his dick because she really wanted it.

Which is a thing that sometimes happens, at which point the proper response is to go somewhere a little more private, not whip your dong out in a public park.

Part of the problem is that we're looking at two things as the same crime.

The real 'crime' is a dude randomly running around a park showing his penis to people. That's a crime and should be punished rightfully.

But consensually/discretely showing your penis to someone who wants to see it isn't the same thing. It's still a crime, and if caught, should warrant some type of punishment, but it's not worth it for the police to intentionally track down those people with this entrapment bait.

They wanted to catch the dudes from Group A. But they couldn't, so they went out and baited some random dudes in Group B to punish instead.
