There's no such thing as "unbiased" news. All news has inherent biases, as all humans have built in biases.

What you should look out for are news sources that are open about their respective biases and the slant that has on their reporting as a result.

Recognizing their biases, I personally prefer Al Jazeera English, NPR, BBC, and I should give PBS more of a watch but just haven't really as of late.

I'd legitimately state the the first Resident Evil is one of the best videogame movies ever made. It took the source material, adapted it in such a way that it was faithful to the overall tone of the franchise while not retreading plot points, and made it entertaining. I could've legitimately seen that movie as a side event that happened in the area around Raccoon City alongside the other events of the game series itself.

Went downhill like hell from there, though. Somehow took too much from the games while shitting itself in their own way.

That is misleading. Lee and his fellow soldiers were traitors to the Union, but they were also loyal patriots to their State. Keep in mind that this was an era when loyalty to your state actually meant something and the federal government was not seen as the end-all, be-all that it largely is seen as today. And even currently, we still have people unironically saying that this state or that state, say California as an example, should secede from the Union because people are unsatisfied with the results of the recent election.

Lee was born in Virginia. His family and friends were in Virginia. It shouldnt be surprising he declined the Unions offer to lead Northern troops against them, unless you say you are not only Ok with the federal government one day saying they will steamroll the neighborhood you call home but that you will also be the person leading the charge.

That's a fair point to bring up, but he still swore an oath of allegiance to the United States as a career army officer. I'm willing to give a bit more benefit of the doubt to people that weren't in the U.S. Army that served in the Confederacy as they never made any oaths previously, but not so much for former Army and Navy officers and members of congress that bolted.
