Except the topic says save a child from a pedophile. You can't save a child that isn't in danger. So in this scenario the pedophile is a danger to the child.

The vast majority of pedophiles would absolutely molest kids if it were allowed or they were confident they could get away with it. The ones that don't harm kids almost exclusively refrain due to a fear of punishment or a lack of opportunity. It's a very small percentage that don't do it simply because they know it's wrong.

I would imagine that would depend on the bug. Toxic ones certainly might don't hat to me. But bugs that are considered safe for human consumption probably wouldn't have any negative effects on my digestive system.

I used to wear a hat all the time many years ago. I didn't leave the house without one on my head. Then I grew my hair long and stopped wearing hats. Now that it's short again I do ocassionally wear a hat when I don't feel like doing my hair.

I prefer an operator hat to the traditional baseball cap. They're the same style but not stiff and fit closer to the scalp.

I enjoyed it in the early years. Back when they had all sorts of freaks with all sorts of issues. Before it became the same "someone cheated" every single episode with people who are clearly just playing a part and everything was obviously staged. The show has been that trash for over a decade though. It's about time they took it out behind the studio and put it down.

As long as it has remained frozen the whole time and didn't get thawed and frozen repeatedly over the years it will be perfectly safe to eat. Frozen foods remain safe to eat indefinitely as long as their temperature has been properly maintained. Not necessarily pleasant. But safe.

If that is even an option. Realistically it would have to be done on your days off. Going to classes several hours before or after work would mean no time for sleep. But really, what are they going "teach" that takes more than a couple of hours in a single session? Anything beyond that would be just be bullshit filler to drag it out.

Personally for me, mandatory non-online traffic classes would be more hellish than paying $400ish for the speeding ticket I had years ago. Yea $400 is still a lot but having to physically spend X hours everyday or so for however number of days at a class will drive me nuts even if I just sit there playing on my phone the entire time.

In that scenario you're still losing money. You won't be getting paid for the days you have to attend that class.

Gunshots don't always put you down for the count immediately, not to mention vests and such. A bullet isn't a 100% showstopper, but Armstrong's attack is.

A bulletproof vest won't let you just shrug off a bullet. Chances are you'll fall still, and it'll leave a nasty bruise.

That depends entirely on the sort of armor. Something with a solid plate will absolutely let you shrug it off.

The main purpose of a "community center" is typically a social/gathering place for the community. They often have events like face painting day, community awareness seminars, family activities, rented out for weddings, parties, etc. They also allow groups to hold charity events where they feed poor people, collect clothes, etc. but the center itself is, more often than not, just the place where these groups do their charity event rather than the actual provider of the charity.

Community centers for more upscale communities frequently showcase art. Especially from local artists. They don't own the art though. It's almost always on loan from the artist. They don't pay $132,000 for a display piece. They just give the artist a place to show it.

Yes, kid was 5 and unsupervised, and CLIMBED on to a work of art. It wouldn't be bad if all he did was accidentally run into it and made it fall over, but climbing on it is something he should have been taught to not do, and something that should have never happened

I definitely agree with this train of thought. It's not like it was a legit accident where the kid tripped, fell into exhibit and knocked it over. He stops, looks at it, starts grabbing on and trying to climb it. On top of that the mother was totally negligent in her parental responsibilities to keep her kids under control.

I usually get a double quarter pounder when I go to McDonald's. So I had many of them before the change and a few after the change. I honestly can't say they're noticeably different as far as taste and texture are concerned. I think I notice a difference but it's so minor that it could honestly just be a mind game from their incessant advertising about how much better the new version is.

Never seen lemon ice cream

The only thrifty brand ice cream I have ever truly enjoyed was their Lemonheads ice cream. It was a really nice lemon ice cream with ground up Lemonheads in it. The chunks of the tart outer shell of the Lemonheads went perfectly with the smooth, creamy, lightly sweet lemon flavored ice cream. Sadly it was discontinued after only a few years.

Well I'm not sure what phrase you used but it's not two beds put together. When I put "twin bed" into google I get listings for single beds with a twin size mattress. Anyway, it's a mattress size and is the smallest of the adult sized mattresses. They are meant for a single person to sleep on. At only 38 inches wide even two normal-sized adults would be cramped on one. It would be fine for ocassionally having your girl sleep over. But too small for two people on a regular basis.

Once we've gotten him to stop being a threat to world peace we can work on getting him to stop big such a threat to his own people. Getting him to chill the fuck out and stop antagonizing everyone else is a major step to becoming friendly. If he doesn't feel so alone and cornered and can see he can indeed work with the rest of the world then we can hope to change his view and policies toward his own people.

Talking to him, befriending him, showing him we can work together is the far superior option. He won't just give.up his country and walk away from it. We'd have to take it with force. That wouldn't end well.

I don't have a favorite. As long as it isn't something boring like plain chocolate or plain strawberry. I want chunks of chocolate with thick swirls of fudge in my chocolate ice cream. I want chunks of strawberries and strawberry flavored goo. It has to be good ice cream too. I really enjoy ice cream but I almost always pass on bottom tier stuff like Thrifty brand ice cream.

The walkthroughs on YouTube are generally s*** now with people artificially extending the videos just to get it past the 10 minute mark.

This. So much. The visual aspect is nice. So you can see exactly where on the map that chest is located and how to actually get down to that ledge. But I'd much rather have a text guide with two pictures. One of the map and one of the cliff fave for reference than have to skip around in a video trying to get past all the extra yammering. I do manage to find some good video guides here and there that just get to the point and show me the info I want with the extra crap though.

I loved them way back then, when I was a kid and still have fond memories of the tme spent watching them. But I would hate to see cartoons go back what they were in the 80's or even the 90's.

I'm glad cartoons evolved. I would have missed amazing gems like The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack or Regular Show.
