This mainly applies to Language Arts for me. I start seeing symbolism and the message behind certain books until years later. I was in AP Lang and Lit, but now that I think about it, I didn't really understand the point of a lot of the books we read.

which i actually think the update is bad for the ads; previously, when it was friends' stories at the top and ads at the bottom, i would eventually catch a glimpse of the ads once i ran out of stories to watch. now, i never see them because i never bother going to the right screen since i now know it's all ads.

Gun ban

So, we already have a black market on guns - which we already have a problem with. Can you imagine how much larger that problem is going to get once a gun ban is placed in effect?

And what do we do with everyone who already owns guns? How is that confrontation going to go down, exactly? Police have to enter a home/building and forcibly take weapons from people they know are armed? That doesn't sound like a good recipe.

Sounds like some delicious fines to me.

Maybe not they should always win, but the idea of "everybody wins/everybody gets a trophy" doesn't sit well with me because that's not how real life works

I don't know anyone that took participation trophies seriously. It's more shameful than anything.

What I do see are people interpretting others' success as their own. Like they'll be part of a team, not do shit, and then be cocky about winning.
