Everyone I know who has tried adobo, pancit, or lumpia has loved them, but there's not a whole lot else. I think in bigger cities Filipinos are having luck with fusion cuisine restaurants, but for whatever reason there just aren't that many restaurants out there otherwise. But just because there aren't that many restaurants doesn't mean Filipino cuisine isn't lauded. It's just that you have to go to people's homes to find Filipino food, rather than restaurants.
