Disney was so sure that Hillary would win, they made her anamatronic in advance of the election. Then "The Donald" won and they were left with a $40,000 robot which resembled the losing candidate of the election.



The result is a Donald Trump anamatronic with Hillary's face stretched to fit and a visible breast bulge whenever he moves. To quote one person on Twitter, "When he gets impeached, can we move it to the Haunted Mansion?"

Can I watch Song of the South? Does it have the complete Rescue Rangers series instead of 1&1/2 seasons? Can I watch The Cat from Outer Space or A Country Coyote Goes Hollywood?

I'll grant you that she's existed since the 50s, but no. The 90s animated series is the be all, end all. Just as it was for Batman and his characters. :v

I've been doing a rundown of animated Disney movies in preparation of my trip to Disney World. Some passing thoughts on each film:

Sleeping Beauty
- When it comes to Disney villains, Maleficent is second only to the incomparable Scar
- The story feels like a remake of Snow White, but with a dragon

Cinderella
- Lady Tremaine is one heinous bitch. :v

Snow White
- If your magic mirror tells you the hottest girl in the kingdom is a 12 year old, don't get revenge -- get a new mirror!

Dumbo
- Pink Elephants on Parade is one of the best scenes in animation
- The crows would never be allowed today. It's funny how casual the film is about having a character puff away on a cigar like that.

Lady and the Tramp
- They establish that Lady sleeps in her humans' beds every night. They also establish that the humans are expecting a child. Draw your own conclusions.

Aladdin
- This was my favorite as a kid and it's always fun to revisit Agrabah.
- Jasmine is the second best princess after Ariel. Jaffar is the third best villain after Scar and Maleficent.

Peter Pan
- Fun little adventure with some imaginative locales and a fun villain.
- Tinkerbell has hips that won't quit. :3

The Sword and the Stone
- The weakest film so far, but still fun. The animal transformation scenes and the wizard's duel highlight an otherwise disjointed film.
- You just can tell that Merlin and Archimedes helped influence the Genie and Iago in Aladdin.

Dinosaur
- A lot better than expected despite the primitive CGI. Sometimes, a film's worst enemy is advertising which makes it look boring.

The Little Mermaid
- Possibly my second favorite Disney movie after The Lion King. Ariel is best princess. Nobody bests a redhead.

Ivy, like every other character, was at her best in Batman, The Animated Series. They cast her as a classic femme fatale; albeit with an exceptionally high IQ. She was a genius who created bioweapons instead of a girl who relied on plant based superpowers.

But, hey, when you're writing edgy adult comics, it's easy just to have her kill a bunch of guys with plants because man hating hot chicks are the writer's fetish or something. Screw Harly Quinn. :/

I was working in a factory and watching b-movies.

Can't believe that movie never got the Song of the South treatment.

It's actually worse than Song of the South when it comes to racial insensitivity. "What makes the red man red?" seems like a song that should be from the 1930s, not the '50s. And it was really passed the time when you could exaggerate a person's ethnic features to such a degree.

I'm not "offended" by the song, but it is kind of embarrassing to watch. (Although, like the Siamese cat song, it's very catchy when taken at face value.)

The mermaids were far prettier than Ariel

Nobody's prettier than Ariel, but those mermaids were stellar. Between them, Tinkerbell, and the (adult) Indian woman, it seems a cruel joke to make Neverland a place where only kids can visit.

On the map is listed Cannibal Cove with the image of an African tribal warrior beside it. Given the film's depiction of Native Americans, I don't imagine good things would have come of visiting that cove.
