My buddy had the game and I'd go over and play it at his house from time to time. He was close to the end when in my game I got to the Magus fight as Frog. My buddy is like, "this part is hella hard," so when Magus asked me to fight, I was like "nah, I'm outtie."

Then, he runs after me, asking to join my party. I'm fucking stoked but my buddy freaks out. He's swearing and yelling so hard his mom hears him down in the basement and comes up to yell at him for the language. After I played another hour or two I passed him the controller and we went back to start a new game cause he couldn't imagine not getting to use Magus.

Good times. I'll never forget his face nor reaction. One of the funniest moments of my life.

I feel like The Godfather is overrated. The story has no real narrative. It jist kinda jumps around and things happen "because." Good film making, shitty story. I'd read the book before though, so I guess I was kind of biased.

You can spend a lot, depending. Most I ever dropped was 10k during a three week back-packing trip through Western Europe; mind you I'd been on tour in Afghanistan and this was my leave away from it. I'd spent the previous 40 odd days prior to going back to Kandahar and hoping on a plane sleeping in a hole I'd dug myself in the northern mountains, so i kinda went a little crazy on the booze and hotels, heh

I got married in May. Whole thing total cost $14000. Most of that was food and open bar. Our rings cost us $60 each and it was a costumed, post-apocolyptic themed wedding, so thrift store clothes and all that, baby!

Yeah, I'd say he's a pretty top tier director. He's had way more good movies than bad; infact, I personally only feel he has 2 or 3 bad films.

On top of that, he's a great musician. Seeing him live, performing a bunch of his songs with a backing band was one of the best concerts I got to see last year.
