Taking into account their evolved form's stats, movepool, and the lack of the physical/special split.

Blastoise is the only one that's still pretty viable in the Battle Tower/Frontier. Of course, there are lots of Water types that fight better, but not really a knock when you're just comparing with the other starters.

Charizard's stats are... questionable for post-game play, but still can be used somewhat. Can be used for low-win-streak runs in the BF, but don't dare go in with it once you get past 3 successful trips in succession.

Would rather play a game where you play as Jabba the Hutt only.

The premise is that you make Jabba's crime syndicate the biggest and richest in the galaxy through business contracts, smuggling, deals with the Empire, assassinations, etc with the end result being becoming lord of all Hutts in Nal Hutta or whatever the Hutt homeworld is.

This map doesn't like me. I'm considering just sending Marcus to one man army the bottom half to save Priscilla and letting everyone else take care of everything else. I just don't wanna let Marcus soak experience.

That's actually a pretty good strategy.

Run unarmed!Marcus towards Priscilla's village with a vulnerary, but don't have him enter it. Instead, have him stand on the entrance and do nothing for the rest of the chapter until the coast is clear. Since he's standing on top of it, pirates can't raid her village, and with his base stats, healing item and the evasion bonus from the village he's virtually unkillable.

Just don't forget to have him visit it before you kill the last enemy on the map. Oh, and recruit Erk with Serra, of course.

My favorite GBA Myrmidon (that isn't named Rutger) is Joshua. Because IntSys knew they weren't going to ever make Swordmasters as broken as Rutger again, so instead of making him a slightly better but still not the best combat unit, you can make him a utility unit that can defend himself if he needs to.

The class has continued to get nerfed, now hasn't it?

FE6's 30% critical was way too obscene though, clearly they didn't test the ramifications enough. That number is enough to make every Swordmaster/Berserker 'pretty good' at a minimum. Even Garret, who's supposed to be pretty bad, still maintains passable offense.

By the way, oh look, we have MarthKoopa here to pollute the topic with Thracia propaganda yet again. Just like most FE topics on CE.

IIRC it was in 64 as well, but you could only fight in it in the singleplayer 'campaign' mode where you fought those polygon mooks, not as a multiplayer stage.

I don't see how healing/reviving with magic or skills is A-OK, but items is a no-no for you.

There's literally no difference apart from the fact that the resource you expend in the former is MP/stamina, while in the latter it's your money.

I usually don't use items either, but it's more because of a 'hoarder' mentality like the second guy said.

I would say he's third-best, only better than Astrid, and Oscar and Kieran outstrip him so much it's not even funny.

Nothing wrong with using all four Cavs though since Cav/Paladin is a broken class in PoR.

Come RD, though, and he's pretty darn bad there.

GX is orders of magnitude easier than X.

He was pretty garbage in his early works.

But I do have to say he's improved by literally dimensions as he got older. One of the most dramatic cases of an actor improving as his career progressed, I daresay.

Nowadays, if he's starring in a movie, I can be somewhat assured he'll make it at least decent. So I'd kinda lean towards yes for actors alive.

All time, though, that's a tall order.

My interpretation of that scene is that R2 was behind the ropes for the whole scene. Anakin did minimal work bar being on the ride while spamming the fire triggers, with one lucky instinctive shot managing to hit the warship core.

You didn't watch the movie, I see. Padme is incredulous at Anakin because he says he's never even finished a race before. Implying that he's raced a lot before only to crash and get knocked out every single time. The only reason Anakin won that race was because R2 tuned his pod beforehand and Qui-Gon gave him some words of encouragement about trusting his instincts. He wasn't winning jack **** on his own.

Luke got absolutely minimal training from Obi-Wan and used the Force on a missile being fired from an X-Wing HE NEVER PILOTED BEFORE to destroy the Death Star.

Luke and Biggs Darklighter say that this can't be so different from shooting off womp rats on Tatooine. Implying that aiming and shooting stuff isn't a new experience for either of them even before they reached the Rebels. Plus, IIRC, the novelization also goes in-depth about this that Luke and his buddies played around with fighter simulators(maybe in that mythical Tosche Station) so there does exist some indirect experience. Not to mention it's not hard to imagine Rebel X-Wings being made so they are pretty darn easy to just sit and learn to fly them, given the ragtag bunch of misfits they have to work with and send to battle all the time with minimal training.

Also, Luke didn't 'use' the Force. He just 'felt' the perfect angle to fire the proton torpedoes in, it's not the same as guiding and pushing that thing in with his mind. It's just instinct.

She is a junker, so it's not out of the question she would know how to make the Millennium Falcon work again. As we've seen, The Force basically makes you a wonderful pilot, so her being able to fly it is nothing special.

The Millennium Falcon is not the same as an X-Wing. The latter is a fighter with basic controls that is obviously made for easy access to new meat. The former is a personal ship so heavily modified that it looks and works nothing like the original retail version and only the people who modded it would fully understand its abilities and inner workings(even then they still have trouble with it; look at all the stuff going on with it in ESB).

This wouldn't be so egregious if she just happened across Poe's broken X-Wing or something, fixed that and flew that. She flew the Falcon, which either implies her 'talent' is orders of magnitude superior to what Anakin and Luke had, or the writers were brain-dead idiots and/or lazy bums.

Her being able to face off against Kylo Ren in a battle of the minds is more that her convictions were high and Kylo was trained poorly (Snoke admits he trained him poorly)

Kylo not being able to fend off even a girl with no prior Force training whatsoever just because she had the determination opens up an entirely different can of worms, but this topic is about Rey so I won't say further.

This is a joke of a squad, steeped in nepotism and incompetent coaches. I actually wished that we wouldn't make it this far to save the embarrassment like the last World Cup where European media lambasted the team for playing worse than middle-schoolers.

It looks pretty possible this time around(unlike the one draw-two losses that time) since

1) the team's so weak that if it weren't for Uzbekistan and Syria ****ting themselves we wouldn't even be here. Heck, even China was a threat.
2) the opponents in the group stage are actually respectable/strong. Germany/Sweden/Mexico? This is gonna be a massacre.
3) even the media is quiet. Granted, there's the whole stuff going on with the mad boyz up north and Trump, plus an election just two weeks away, but given the usual national fervor for soccer the country is eerily mum. Like even the optimists have given up all hope.

I want the entire Football Association torched, all the executives fired and disgraced so we could restart everything back from scratch.

Of course, reason 2) is going to be used as an excuse after this so nobody's going to take any responsibility and we'll waste yet another four years and send another garbage heap of a team in the next World Cup. Obvious. Why would they change anything if they haven't changed anything after the disgrace four years ago, against freaking Belgium/Russia/Algeria?

I pity Son. We have a goddamn playmaker GOAT(for Korea) on this team and we're wasting his best years on the national side because of this. I hope he scores a goal or two just to prove his worth, then declare he's done with the national team forever and doesn't come back from Premier League ever. This team doesn't deserve him.
