I completely disagree. I think story, epecially narrative. Is vitally important to a game, especially one with long boring cut-scenes and set-pieces.

If story isn't that important then why did we have to sit through those long boring bits where we play as that ancestor bloke leaping around like an idiot?

The drug trips in 3 were way better. And the annoying spoiled white bread nobody slowly becoming a badass survivor by drugging himself to the eyeballs and going on killing sprees until he lost his sense of identity is way more interesting as a protaganist than "This guy's mom's dead and he's here to rest her ashes but there's a civil war and for some reason he's caught in the middle between 2 incredibly 2 diensional parts of the reisstance! Which does he pick!?" which is just.... well kinda nothing.

I couldn't tell the difference apart from the fact 4 was much much easier.

I mean I do agree with you that the story is better. As are the characters. And the drug trips too. But gameplay trumps all, so if a sequel is worse in less important areas, it doesn't particularly bother me. I wouldn't really say Far Cry 4 is significantly better anyway. Just beats out 3 by a little bit.

Far Cry 3 actually had character arcs and depth.

Characters and story aren't really that important. Far Cry 4 had better outposts and better weapons. That's enough for me to consider it the better game.

Fallout 3 is at #42 and Fallout at #81.

42 is ridiculously high for Fallout 3.

It reminds me of the original Zoo Tycoon a bit, which is part of why I'm interested. The Zoo Tycoon sequels never appealed to me. The art style seemed too cartoony and colorful.

The game was already remastered, and it's a standalone release now. There's no good reason to play the original when the remaster exists.

They did Halo 3 after the Master Chief Collection too. They might have waited so they could push sales of the remaster.

Yeah but with Halo 3 people still had stuff on their File Shares that they didn't have access to. Also Halo 3 and MCC's Halo 3 are quite different. Technically the MCC version is better because of the framerate. But it also only has the barebones versions of most maps. Halo 3 BTB for example had the Elephant on Sandtrap and a Heavies gametype which included more vehicles. The MCC Halo 3 BTB doesn't have these.

That's a non-issue though. You start drowning in good weapons halfway through the game. And the game itself isn't really difficult either. At the beginning it is when you don't really know what you're doing. But then you start stockpiling arrows and good bows and you get Urbosa's Fury. Trial of the Sword is considered the hardest bit because it takes away all that stuff.

It also definitely occurs in the 2003 Clone Wars animated series. Although that isn't canon anymore. But considering how chaotic the opening of Episode 3 is, I wouldn't be surprised if some of those Republic ships got crushed as CIS ships came out of hyperspace.

Her character could have easily been removed from the movie without any loss. In fact, the movie would been much stronger if Leia took on her actions at the end.

Yeah it would have been a good way to send off Leia. I've also seen people suggest it should have been Ackbar. That would have been nice too, but Ackbar was reduced to an even more minor character in this trilogy, so it wouldn't have had the same impact. It would be nice if Star Wars gave a bit more importance to alien characters other than Yoda and Chewie.

I don't know why PC gamers are so fixated on graphics and mods and stuff. None of that matters if you can't play Mario.

Technically you can play Mario, just not anything new. I've never really cared about graphics or mods or even performance for that matter. But PC's biggest advantage is undoubtedly its library, so that's why I built one. Maybe I'll begin to appreciate those other things a bit more.

There's one mission that reuses an area from Dishonored 2. Everything else is new.

Actually I forgot to add that both DLCs from the first game also reuse areas that were in the base game. Although they're technically not sequels, but concurrent.
