I disagree. I put it at the absolute nadir of the Marvflix canon.

The entire Meachum family was just horrible to behold. Danny was an insufferable know-it-all, very difficult to like. Colleen tries way too hard to be a cool sensei when Jessica Henwick cannot pull that off.

Oh, and every fight scene save the one with the drunken master was a snooze.

Seriously, while I was suffering through Iron Fist, Jeri Hogarth showed up and basically took over the entire scene she was in and I was like "I forgot what having a proper character was like!"

Why do you think CJayC left?

Emotional investment in the site took a toll on him. He didn't want to be the dad yelling at all the troublesome kids.

You have to have detachment taking care of a site like this or you'll burn out far more quickly.

I'd also like to point out that SBAllen has been heavily involved in the site almost since the beginning.

Aye, that's a good one mate. Reminds me of the one time I saw this creature.

I was moored on Outset Island. They don't have much there, but they live an honest life, near as ya please.

Couldn't have been much earlier than 2 AM. I couldn't sleep what for the sounds coming from the forest at the top of the bluff so I went for a stroll around the populated areas. It was dark and I didn't feel like risking me neck straying too far to the borders.

Given the relative safety, you'll forgive me for being a bit down on my guard. I was rounding one of the fine little cottages they have, and that's when I saw it.

Just the most hideous creature. Pug ugly. One could mistake it for being human if I didn't get a straight-on look at the filth. Couldn't have much more than three feet from toe to tip, staggering around.

And hanging from its crushed nose...

The LONGEST drip of disgusting snot you ever did see!

Well, lads. On the high seas I'm one of the bravest fellas you'd meet, but there on dry land, I didn't have me courage to deal with such a monstrosity. I wailed something fierce and I must have surprised the thing because it upped and made for the cover of the further cottage.

Still, I'll never forget that beast. The discharge just hanging from it, like it was seeking to consume the rest of its wretched form. Still gives me nightmares to this day.

Absolutely. I've never engaged with her, but saw her at MAGFest this past January. She seemed in a generally good place there, but you can just tell by being around her the difficulties she has.
