Great job buddy.

It takes a lot of dedication, we are very proud of you.

But most importantly I hope you feel accomplished; keep at it. It's less about the look and more about the health benefits.

When I was a waitress way back when, it was HARD work.

Customers were inappropriate 6/10 times, not everyone tipped, some people gave like $1 tips.

But you know I never was angry at someone for not tipping, just upset.

You want to make trades. Obviously, you'd like the trades to put you in better positions. The value of each piece is:

Queen - 9
Rook - 5
Bishop - 3
Knight - 3
Pawn - 1

The points don't matter, but it's something to keep in mind to better value your trades. Since you're generally unfamiliar with chess, your bishops will likely be more valuable to you than your knights, and his knights will likely be more valuable to him than his bishops.

Got it...kings the most valuable I assume (duh).

I didn't know they were weighted like that though; cool.

I knew about the four moves thing. Wasnt aware of the other two. Im not much of a chess player, but if youre playing against anyone with a 1/2 decent background in chess theyre going to see these moves a mile away though.

These are good too, I wonder if he knows about them? Probably...maybe he won't expect me to know of them though? Does that make sense? Also not sure I could memorize those. First one seemed simple but there's a variable there expecting those moves right?

So I bet with someone I can beat him in Chess because he was such a braggart.

So tomorrow at lunch I am playing chess with someone. Problem is, I realized I mixed up Chess & Checkers and I'm not too familiar with Chess. I know the pieces and their movements and all that stuff but I was wondering if there were some movesets that give advantages? I get it, if it was that easy, it wouldn't be hard.

But I know like tic tac toe has certain moves that will always at least end up in a draw, hoping for similar advice.

Thanking!

I'd say like 48/100.

Since the chances are 1/100 but you already went 99 times I'd say your chances are higher than a 1/100 from a fate perspective.

But mathly speaking 1/100.

For those who said no:

Love isn't about the ability to deal with the best of what life throws at you; its the ability to persevere when life throws its worst at you.

If you can't survive cheating, emotional or physical, I don't think its true love, sorry, my OPINION.

You sound like someone who just cheated and now you're trying to cover your tracks. Love is not something someone else can define for you.

I mean I'm not really concerned if that's what I sound like, although I didn't, there's a lot of people who do that and I don't hold it against them. But I do agree love is difficult to define and can have multiple meanings.

I dont think thats a fair statement. You could easily turn it around and say if the person truly loved you, they wouldnt have cheated.

Everyone is entitled to their boundaries.

I mean yeah you can disagree with me, I very blatantly stated its my opinion. I get that argument to it, but I don't agree with it. Like you said in your original, very well written post, people make mistakes. Can't blame someone for being human. But, your tolerance level for mistakes depends on your affection for someone. Think about if your coworker did the same mistake your spouse did, who would you forgive sooner?

Right, I dont think you can blame someone for being human. Same goes for the person who feels they just cant trust their spouse the same way again, or love them the same, those are human feelings. Thats just my opinion though, I dont mean to be dismissive of yours or anything. We can agree to disagree.

Fair, appreciate the alternate perspective. Best of luck; great talk.

No, theyre too young to rationalize why something is wrong. But, they can associate physical pain with doing something theyre not supposed to do as long as the spanking is administered with purpose. Spanking or hitting with no purpose is why the act has garnered so much negativity.

But I mean in that same sense can't you just associate verbal reprimanding with something they're not supposed to do?

It's the same result...just...no hitting.

Hello TC,

So grade school days are tough, you're either in or not. Especially in public schooling system...

I am sure you are not bad looking, keep in mind, beauty is subjective. For example, some people view a modesty (such as what you appear to have) to be a very attractive trait!

If people like you online, which they do, at least we do, then people IRL like you too.

Don't look at fights with the fam as a bad thing, you fight because you care about one another. Indifference is worse than that.
