Never tried but I'm on day 45 of the 100 day burpee challenge.

But since me and the wife have both been doing 100 burpees in broken down sets on our off days we had to add a bit more complexity.

You must do one set that exceeds the number of days into the challenge you are. Except on lifting workout days.

Only problem is on day 18 I hit 100. Not on workout days....

So is that better or not than ten gimmick push-ups?

Many games the difficulty is not just set by the setting- in adventure games for instance one can "self Gimp" by not using max gear and instead picking on aesthetics or role playing of it has RPGs elements.

In most situations I would err on the side of freedom of speech, but it is also not absolute.

I can also see CNN saying to the kid "no you Cannot enter the premises of our private business wearing that".

And if CNN set the restrictions on the school for the dress code of what they will and will not allow that's not even close to triggering a first amendment issue.

And there already HAVE been decisions regarding political-themed clothing where SCOTUS defended the rights of students to wear clothing with certain political messages. While the ruling might not extend this far -- and it might not -- the principle is well within the realm of the First Amendment.

Which is why I included in my post the special circumstances of attending a field trip to an outside location and reasonable time place and manner restrictions.

I can see a school requiring all students to dress in suits as a condition to go on a voluntary field trip.
